i do actually, a lot of people think I am way below my age. I went to buy tomatoes with my babe and the aboki man was asking her if I was her younger brother, I said yes, and then I started using it to tease her saying she looks like a grand ma, meanwhile, I carry 5 good years take senior her o. The one wey provoke me pass an when I go open bank account and the woman doing it for me was asking me if I am up to 18, i did not know what to reply her, I just handed over y passport to her, an there she begin apologize.

All my childhood friends looks far far older with beards everywhere, meanwhile, I still look very young. I promised someone close to me that I will not keep beards, but after facing all these things, I had no choice than to start growing my beards, e don do me.

To be candid, it's a good trait.. Though, when I was younger, it used to annoy me because it denied me one thing or the other, but now I am older, I like am.

I can relate. I used to have the same issue with people talking me unserious or treating me like an undergrad.
It's quite easy to fix.
I stopped wearing skinny jeans and all those clothes these kids wear nowadays.
Dress in natives and even casual wear are mostly Ankara.
Kept full facial beard with lowcut hair.
Basically stop dressing like a "guy".

I have a baby face.... Had to force myself to grow beards so people stop asking me for my ID when I enter certain places in the US.

I was already 27 during nysc. I laughed the day some one saw me and called me "young corper"
I keep beards to look more mature

I remembered kwarapoly that year. I went to visit my sister from my school ( c& s college). I was 17 and preparing for waec. as I was trying to send for her at the girls' hostel, the lady just said I should follow her. My sister was really annoyed,but couldn't betray me by sending me out. Real nudes of different sizes I saw was better imagined than said. One of the memories I have been living with.
