Will those who have received ITA but not submitted their application also update their EE profiles eith the proof of funds?or do I need to submit my application before July 15th?

I am open to being corrected.....but....from what I understand:

Nothing is locked at ITA.....except age...... and IRCC had to write a special policy for that.

ITA means they invited you to apply.
AOR means you have actually applied/submitted your application.

At AOR stuff still needs to be valid, including IELTS, ECA, POF (current required amount by IRCC not previous amount as at ITA). If you can only afford the old POF then, I believe you would need to submit before July 15.

Hello house, update for those waiting for FSW draws to resume like me, they’ve updated the proof of funds requirement for this year which means the draws will be starting soon. Read the link. What do you think ?
CRS is 504

POF has nothing to do with the draw.
It is usually updated regularly. 504 is ridiculously high for CRS

Yes they do that every year at the start of the year (Jan) however they didn’t do so this year January cos they had no intention of doing FSW draws cos of Covid. They just updated it this month clearly because they intend to recommence.

All these things are still assessed using the scores and things submitted at the time of AOR

I think we may be saying the same thing.....if one has ITA, their ducks MUST be in a row when they submit AOR. One would not have received ITA if their ducks were not already in a row smiley

IRCC further down in that document also says:

Requirement to maintain the MEC
Ministerial Instructions created under the authority of section A10.3(1)(e) list the MEC for Express Entry. Applicants must meet the MEC to be accepted into the Express Entry pool and must also meet the MEC when they are issued an ITA and when they submit their e-APR.

If an applicant’s situation changes in the time between when they receive an ITA and when they submit their e-APR to such a degree that their qualifications fall below the MEC, the application must be refused under section A11.2. The officer must also consider whether the application should be refused for not meeting the minimum requirements of the federal program to which they are applying or for misrepresentation.

Settlement funds
Settlement funds are not included in the CRS. They do, however, relate to the program requirements of FSWC and FSTC and may, by extension, be included in the MEC for Express Entry.

Obviously I’m only guessing and making possible/ logical conclusions. I don’t work at IRCC, don’t bite me please. You are probably right and they are updating proof of funds for a program they don’t intend to ever recommence

I am planning to go on a similar road trip and I would appreciate it if you can share your experience with me so I can have an idea of the total amount to budget for the trip, the time it will take, places to visit, and other important information.

Toludebs:
Hello fam,

Please for travel history, I did a road trip to Ghana sometime ago from Nigeria, which is Benin -> Togo -> Ghana, but at each of these countries, my passport was stamped for entry which is 15th June at Benin, Togo and Ghana respectively. I left Ghana 19th and this means my passport was stamped for exit at each of the border. I am confused as to how to fill my travel history.

CRS is 504

PoF is based on current cost of living, and has nothing to do with draws.

However, we hope they start soon. They need our money too

Hi Nairalanders. I will like to know if I can declare myself as self employed in the express entry. I am a self employed fashion designer with 3years+ of experience. Also my business is incorporated with CAC and I have tax documents, business bank account statements and can easily get reference documentation from third party individuals (clients) along with their payment details and invoices. Will this work even if it doesn’t align with my educational background. Thanks in anticipation.

Hello everyone,
I am 27 year old, with masters degree. I have done my Evaluation with Wes and I have my Eca, I did my IELTS but I didn’t get my desired score I got L 8, R 6.5, S 6.5, W 7
Although I hope to rewrite IELTS but I was advised to get into the pull with that results
I have worked as a call center agent in a microfinance bank for 1yr 5m before going for my masters and I got another job where I work presently as a sales coordinator where I have been working for 1year and 8 months

I had issues recognizing my Noc but I ended up picking 6221 for my current position and 6552 for call center agent experience, After submitting I was ineligible

It was later I discovered that 6552 was under skill type c
Also I put 17000 CAD as the amount I am bringing to Canada because I intend to get married after AOR

I really don’t know what made me ineligible but I want to correct this mistakes so I tried to start another application
Even though I have not deleted the previous one

While filling the new application it asked if I have
applied before, I picked yes so I was asked to fill my UC identification number and the previous EE profile
My question is that is it advisable to fill it as or should just pick no that I have not applied before
Also I am planning to change the call center Noc to 6314 which is for call center supervisor, I intend to use both experience

Also should I change the amount I want to take to Canada to 13213 which is for single applicant

Good day everyone, this is concerning the POF, I am yet to get ITA, and I intend to use gift deed.My sponsor wants to keep the money in a dom account and later transfer to my account when I am ready.
The issue I am having now is that, can this fly, because the dom account will be newly opened and won’t this raise any suspicion for the VO incase ITA comes in less than 2 months..

Good day guys. Please I need help with selecting a NOC for the job function below.

Federal Minstry of industry, Trade and investment.
Department of Weights and Measures
deals with fairness in trade
we often visit bakeries, shopping mall, petrol stations, quarries, production companies.
to check if what is bn produced tally with what is bn sold to the consumers. so basically to ensure fairness in trade
1. Verification and certification of weighing and measuring equipment.
2. Fairness in trade/ consumer protection
3. Standardization of indigenous measures
4. Issuance of certificate of verification. Etc
5. Crosschecking of prepacked goods to ensure conformity to the Acts
6. Generating revenue to the Govt
7. Prosecution of cases relating to violation of weights and measures Acts.

NOC experts, I need your input on this.
God bless..

Unless you have submitted an application (not profile) for a visitor visa or express entry or other application to IRCC then you have not applied before. Completing an express entry profile is not the same as applying. NOC skill level C is ineligible.

On choosing 6314...... Did you actually perform the functions in that NOC? Can you get a reference letter saying so? What will a VO think about a recent graduate being a supervisor (your 1 yr 5 months before Masters). Think about it wella, NOC wahala no get part 2.

See here a case of a recent graduate/NYSC claiming a managerial role. The same thinking may apply for supervisor role:

What if I attach in my reference letter it is explained that after 6months of practicing as a call center agent I rose to call center supervisor role

Also I want to ask if, in the profile I created which was not eligible i wrote 50hours of work per week, I hope this does not matter?

Good evening bosses.

A friend of mine directed me here. I read about the Express Entry and I have a question. You people should help me

1. My dilemma is I want to use my NYSC for the work experience, getting the reference from the secondary school I was posted should not be a problem(I hope), the problem is I was into crypto trading as the same period I was on NYSC and I used my NYSC account for this.

Are the other transactions in the statement going to be a concern for the Officer? (statement for a year is about 9 pages and my NYSC salary-#19800 was nothing compared to the other credits I got) Or do I write a letter explaining why there were other inflows in the account.

Note: I don't intend submitting said account for POF.
