Just visit any Opay office in whichever state you are in because it was Opay POS that I used and it was good.

Banks give POS too. But the problem is that sometimes they charge your customers extra #100 for each transaction after you have charged them. That amounts to double charging and some people don’t find it funny.

Again there other companies that give POS machine but sometimes they set targets you must meet every month which you might meet if you just started.

But Opay is more flexible. That’s why I recommend them. So walk into their office and they will take it up from there.

If you have a good location for the POS business what you earn as salary in the bank will not be anything near what you make from the POS business no matter the increase.

My advise to you; is to remain committed to your pay job, POS gives momey, Oh yes! But it's way beyond your conclusions about how profitable it can be,try also to consider the negative effects of failed transactions,leading to error, mistaken account details, charge back, and lots more. It's more like trading forex on a more simpler platform.

Hire a competent person to be doing POS for you. Have her trained very well, in mean really well. Make sure she puts her application formal, she should also have a referral, who is a civil servant or higher in government establishment, or even Rev, Pastor or church leaders.

The above mentioned is to make your traces in case of any misconduct, and easy recovery of your money from the the employee,in case she wan do you one chance.

Females are preferable for the post, not males.


Like I said earlier, remain committed to your pay job. The benefits of loyalty in bank work, brings a lot to the table. Thank you.

They're so many risks in POS business. I will not advise you to do it as side hustle. It is either you go in fully or stay in your comfort zone.

I left LG teaching job paying 44k monthly but with 600naira dailiy tfare for Pos business and am not regretting my decision, business is good but the security risk that comes with pos and people knowing u always carrying cash is one thing plus fraudsters, anybody u are employing must be very smart though you are yet to start the business so u can't compare.

If you have a capital of a million plus with a good location, you might be getting about 200k a month. A brother of mine has like 4 POS shops, dude makes nothing less than 700k a month from all his shops

Then the money for the machine was 10k when I registered but someone was telling me it has been increased to 25k. But they also have a mini POS that’s 10k. Depending on which you prefer.

Aside these, nothing else should cost you money.

Except for printing of banner and getting your able and chair when you eventually get the machine.

From the look at the salary, he is a contract staff and if that is the case, I don't see promotion anywhere around him exception the bank promise to convert contract staffs to full time staff after some years. If that is the case, the minimum time for conversion known to me is 2years plus..... terms and conditions still dey o.

take the bank job and get a staff for the pos be paying the person based on commision and small salary...you will gain from both sides

Some aboki can come for 300k at once, that is 3k. If you're trustworthy you can make convinently 7k profit in a day.

Aboki like trust worthy person, they will bring their friends if they notice you are worth dealing with.

What he said is true...Profit made from POS solely depends on location. I know a POS vendor very close to one of the highest selling restaurants in Enugu town and he makes average of 15k daily.

This is not a lie. I make not less than 260k from each of my POS terminals. Not everything is a lie. If you get a good location, you might be tempted to quit your job. Though it's my side hustle. I didn't quit my job.

Get some one or ur sis precisely but make sure the person is a female give her tutorial on how to use d machine then use ur salary to back up the business don't quit any u close by 5pm ur work should close same time with u and come home to give u account just keep pushing by dis time next month u should plan of opening another pos point don't stick to one pls

I said that because my POS business flopped. Though I think it’s because of bad location and I wasn’t even doing the business with enough capital.
