These days I just wash my hair and make my cornrows. Sometimes I add a little coloured extension to highlight it and give a more “outing” look.

Thanks to wigs, I am covered.

Place with A.C and VIP treatment. I even have a special person always assigned to me. I should have known that their price would have increased by now.

Finished hair, brought out 1000. They hook me for throat, talk say the money na 4000 . I had to pay up.

Na me find trouble.

So expensive really. Close to 10k. But if you want to make proper hair, that's just the cost.

I'm moving to my brown, black and grey wigs for the rest of the year.

Covering hair is going to go too, for religious and financial purposes. I even have styles that I can tie happily.

On average they can barb 10 people. If they render better services and employ others, it will definitely boost dramatically but let's stick with 10.

10 people x 500=5k
5k x 30 days =150k

That's 5 times the minimum wage in Nigeria. And I'm basing my calculations on average. Yes i didn't include things like rent, fuel, clipper maintenance, barbing accessories because if i do, I'll have to also raise the income above average.

My childhood barber, trained his kids in school, bought land and is currently building a house with just barbing. And just before you bsay it's impossible, this didn't take a day, he's been barbing for decades

My barber friend once told me he makes at least 2k everyday after expenses. At times sef he dey go home service with higher charge....He has a wife and two children. He is quite comfortable.
