TB Joshua died and was highly honoured by the world and Christians at large. SCOAN held a week long programme to mark his death.
He was eulogized by the high and mighty to the extent even Israelites had delegates attending his burial.

I promised myself not to say anything about him again either good or bad , but something was stirred up in my spirit last night as I had communion with the Holy Spirit and this led me to open this thread.

I read threads how a lot of people( prophets inclusive both false and real eulogized him and it got me thinking so much ).

After I went through his burial pictures last night , I went into deep thoughts. I was thinking and praying in the Spirit non stop , when the Holy Spirit started ministering to me and we had a lovely communion and I want to share some of the things I got from that.

You might not like the things I say here, but your opinion on this wouldn't really matter cos God gave me a scripture as my motto when He called me ( Let God be true and every man a liar) . This has been my guiding scripture all my years as a Christian.

Before we start, can you please tell me how the Spirit of God ministered to you ? Through which medium? Please I'm looking for people that have heard or talked with God. I need to get some info from them.

As I read the stories online about his philanthropic efforts ,I was awed. I further looked at his burial pictures , saw the mammoth crowd at attendance and how he was greatly eulogized. The Holy Spirit instantly ministered to me.

A lot of people get carried away with men's approval of them and forget that it's God they will give account to on the last day and not man. Once you die , no one's opinion about you matters anymore, even that of your pastor, father or mother, cos by then it'll be between you and your creator alone.

It happens a lot. We have people having mansions in the village but struggling and owing rent in Lagos. There are many slaving abroad as it were, but sending money and collecting chieftaincy titles in Nigeria. Be smart, eternity is a long time to pay rent.

I stopped going to church a long time ago because of these annoying so-called men of God. I prefer to worship God from my house..... Almost all of them are after money, I can't give my hard earned money to one dubious pastor. Even with the proliferation of churches/mosques in Nigeria we are still the most wicked people on earth. There's no day you won't hear of mass killing in Nigeria.

I would rather dine with an unbeliever that won't harm me than roll with a hypocritical Christian. Jesus came to this world because of sinners and not the righteous. Even if TB Joshua wasn't pure he's a million times better than all of them because he did practical christianity.

I wanted to criticize you, but on seeing this I had to mellow in surprise. I was at a cafe watching that burial, and I all of a sudden got so sad n depressed. Remembering my father's abduction by sea pirates at same time. You guys surprised me. I wonder the christ u all follow. Cos your stance and judgmental attitude don't in anyway depict the teaching of christ. Tb Joshua, im not a member of his church or a fan. But I've listened to his messages. This man always preach the undiluted word of God, he always preach about love, forgiveness and giving. All his ministry during his lifetime was centered on love. He always emphasized on love. He lived his life in humility and love and giving and helping the needy. Especially helping those who are not even affiliated to Christianity. Both in Nigeria, India and other poor countries. This single man has touched lives more than an average General Overseer of any Nigerian church. He lived more Christlike than any other christian I've ever seen. Yet u all condemn him to hell cos u believe he was occultic and never a true servant of God.

Its at death that names are removed from the book of life - if the person didn't accept Jesus as his/her Lord and personal saviour, or the name remains in the book of life - if the person received Jesus as his/ her Lord and personal saviour.
