Only the new documents is what you should print out and take to the tls centre.

They will add it to the ones you have submitted.

It costs ₦11,700. No cash payment allowed.

Ok, better then. Thanks so much.

Good evening everyone, please can I ask questions on tier 2 visa on this thread?

You can ask of course. Anyone who has anything to say will answer.
There's also another thread somewhere for people already living in the UK, many of whom are likely to be on Tier 2 visas, so that is probably where you will get more and better responses to any questions you want to ask.

Hello everyone
I would like to find out at what point medical examination is conducted?.can it be upfront?
Should this be before the submission of application?
IOM or qlife?

Is it compulsory to book hotel stay and airline ticket before submitting your application? Thank you.

The bolded is not true in Nigeria.
Any property bought in one party's name is theirs alone - Nigerian courts do not distribute property on divorce, for instance.

It is used in the context of a visa application sir and not on the grounds of divorce, and i did include that the woman has to make refence to that as joint property with her husband.

You missed the qualifier "for instance" at the end of the statement you quoted, madam. I mentioned it to point out that in my opinion your assertion was not strictly true in that context. People reading these pages can take away more than just visa application information from here.

However, in the context of a visa application, one is free to put in as many documents as possible for consideration, it makes no difference - I remember a time when people used to put in their car registration documents, with the mindset that car ownership apparently proved their membership of the solid middle class less likely to become illegal overstayers - the visa officer will of course not reject an application because they think it contains some irrelevant documents.

As an aside, I mentioned divorce because it is only in that situation that the true status of so-called marital property is made clear. The approach to marital property in Nigeria is typical of our society - the law states that ownership of property may be distributed between a former married couple at the court's discretion, and in practice the courts - all the way up to the Supreme Court apply title - so if a property is in one spouse's name (generally the man's, our society being what it is), the courts assume they own it outright and only allow a spouse who can prove contribution to it to claim.

I only advice him based on the information he gave.

We never can tell he might be financially buoyant to be able to sponsor his parent based on investment or other source of income elsewhere and most times I prefer to include excess documents than to be denied based on insufficient document.

Cyberknight:

On a Tier 4 visa, you dont need to show any of the bolded, how much can a student on 20 hours a week have in their bank account to cover costs of supporting two people in the UK in addition to themselves. Nor can a student hold a mortgage and if they're likely living in shared accommodation a utility bill, if any, would be pointless. No need for pictures taken together either, these are one's parents, so unless there has been a long period of no contact that needs to be justified, those arent necessary. And the OP lumley stated that they came for his/her undergraduate graduation.

The parents are the ones coming to visit their child and they are the ones to show they can afford the visit and have ties back home to make them most likely to return, etc.

so if a property is in one spouse's name (generally the man's, our society being what it is).

This is exactly my thinking cheesy! Most properties although are jointly owned, yet in the man's name. In this situation, can a woman add same to her application?

That is the reason for the back and forth between me and the other poster.

Hello Guys,
You guys have really helped me on this visa journey. Here is my testimony:

June 7th - Biometrics (Paid for Priority) I will suggest if anyone is applying for a Tier 2 visa category, not to choose any priority service. Its just a ploy to get more money.

June 17th - Email for Interview
June 24th - Interview
July 9th - Finally got my Tier 2 Work Visa after several emails to TLS. Apparently, my visa was approved on the same date I was interviewed, but TLS did not send any information to me nor was the tracker updated. I read somewhere here that one could send them an email if the dates are more than the standard 15 working days which I did. That was what spurred them to search for my passport and do the needful.

My advice will be for anyone applying to fill in the correct details and dont lie on your application. I told them of the different countries i have been to and all the refusals.

All the best!

Please what is the best flight to the UK? Is KLM good?

What about covid 19 tests in the UK? I am going to Milton Keynes
