Collected mine today, strictly DIY, Abuja. Even oga thank you oooo, I no do.

My suggestion/advice, if you know you have captured more than 3weeks ago, go to their office and check. It will surprise you it was ready two weeks after capture. Nigeria immigration are really working, they don't want to create backlogs for themselves. Also don't wait for SMS because it might not come.

I captured on the 15th of June in port Harcourt. Till date the passport isn't out. I called my contact at the NIN office and they said there have not started producing passport booklet. And I need my passport ASAP.

Note: Port Harcourt office is not DIY friendly. Them go fustrate you so bad. Had to settle them after waiting for verification and capturing after a month, calling, mailing servicom to no avail and everything magically got resolved within 4days

You guys should go to warri office! not up to 20 people waiting for capture every day and your passport is ready in 3 weeks or less after capture. ��

However on my passport payment slip, no interview date, so I decided to chat with the passport office online via the chat app. I was then given a link to book an appointment which I have done. So You don't just come to their office, you must book an appointment and print your appointment slip. Here is the link to book an appointment. Upon successful submission of payment you, Please visit https://appointments.immigration.gov.ng/ to schedule your appointment date.

No i wouldn't say DIY cos after paying online, i voluntarily dashed the officer i met at the desk 5k told her i was going back to work. She said she would help me do the necessary that i should come back before 4pm for capturing.
I don't even need it urgently that's why i didn't pay for express route.
