God's word said we must keep this two laws:
Love God and neighbours! Mark 12:29-31

So if you truly love your neighbours you will always sue for peace instead of picking up weapons to settle issues! Luke 9:51-56; Matthew 26:52

That being so Jesus now gave us (his true followers) a new COMMANDMENT that we must love our fellow believers the same way he love us! John 13:34-35

Note that this rule totally differs from the other two that Israelites knew before. In the other two rules we must love God and love our neighbours as we love ourselves!
Surely there are many things we do deprived ourselves of just the same way Jesus denied himself of certain things {Luke 4:3-4} but Jesus can't deny his followers of whatever they need including sacrificing his life in their behalf! John 15:13

So according to Jesus i must love my fellow JW throughout the earth the same way Jesus love me.
Now the anthem is totally against this order!
HOW? Because the anthem says i must vow to be faithful, loyal and honest to people living in one geographical location on this planet!
If i should do that then whatever those people decide to do against people in other places is none of my concern, even if it's to exterminate a whole race i must prove to be faithful, loyal and honest to the core!

what about my fellow believers there whom Jesus asked me to love exactly the same way he love me?

Moreover if i pledge to be faithful, loyal and honest to a nation, i must be prepared to lay down my life if the need be whenever i see a policeman takes bribe to prevert justice, i must not be silent whenever someone is being treated unjustly. Do you think such a thing is possible in this world if you want to live a peaceful life like Jesus?

Now if i'm just asked to make such a vow without anything attached my conscience will not judge me but i am to make such a pledge in the name of God!

So i'm 100% sure that as one of Jesus' true followers i can't live up to such a vow (pledge) so it's a sin for me to make such a pledge! Ecclesiastes 5:4

A true believer would in the first instance understand that politics should not be an unhealthy competition hence he wouldn't even get involved to the extent of struggling negatively in it. Your citation of John 13: 34 - 35 doesn't prove that Jesus was against participation in earthly government or politics. His avoidance was simply because it would forestall his salvation project of dying on the cross. Now, do all Christians equally have to die on the cross to save the world?

Secondly, just before Jesus was taken back to heaven his disciples asked him when God would fulfill his promise of restoring their earthly government to them as a country. By that the disciples demonstrated interest in how they were being politically governed. They obviously wanted an end to the extant Roman imperialism. But did Jesus rebuke them for being interested in earthly governance of their country. A big no. Rather Jesus reaffirmed the promise and reassured them of its fulfilment in due time.
In Romans 16:23 Paul transmitted calvary greetings from Erastus a political office holder in the Government of Rome.... meaning that Paul recognized a politician as a worthy member of the church.
