God does not give permission to evil.

Bro with the deepest humilty in me, I beg to disagree with you. Heavily. God does give permission for certain evils to occur, especially because he intends to use that to bring glory to him.

Don't forget that devil also came to collect permission from God to torment job.

Don't forget that Paul said that for him not to be proud, God permitted a messenger of devil to torment him.

Even physically, the Bible says that God allow the Philistines to terrorize the children of Israel when they rebelled against him.

Please don't say God doesn't give permission to evil to operate. HE DOES FOR REASONS BEST KNOWN TO HIM.

I can't read my Bible for an extended period of time, I read and verse and move to the second, I immediately forget what the previous verse said, even when I force to continue reading, it's seems like waste of time.

I can't pray for long, I'm always lost for words and end up ending the prayer prematurely, I used to be on fire for God years ago until I backslide for an extended period of time, now it's like mission impossible getting back on God's side,

I know how imperative Praying and Studying God's word is to getting closer to God and building a relationship with him, so you can understand why I am worried, I don't want to go back to where I came from, and a lack of prayer and Bible study (devoted time to God) is a fast way of going back to your vomit (sin). I NEED HELP

Impossible is simply "I'm possible to do all things through Christ Jesus that strengthens me."
It's a good thing that you intend making a conscious effort to return to Jesus.
If you're attending a church(house fellowship).....keep it up. You can get a partner/believer that both of you can share God's word by way of gisting.
All what you've mentioned above you can make it known to God through His Son Jesus Christ. It's a gradual process. You can also study christian literature books even if such are old books you've read in the past.
You can engage in a one day or three days fasting/prayers and even if you can't pray much or have words to say......you can do praise/worship songs. You can play through your home device or mobile phone and sing along.

First you need to find your way to a company of believers.
It would help motivate and sharpen you up.
Also, you need to know you take it a day at a time. That you lose one doesn't not make you a loser.
Please the Lord would restore his fire in your life.

In all my time on Nairaland I have never entered the religion part, I am happy I did today. I am at a car wash waiting for my car to be washed while drinking Heineken and 2 big point and kill Fish. This is interesting.

For many years I have always had a funny experience which had sounded strange till I entered this thread.

Sometimes when I am alone and tired I start thinking and drift away in thoughts which I most times casually push aside but only for months or weeks into the future I see those things I thought about in the past happen before my eyes, I can virtually explain what will happen next as if it were a movie I had watched. I usually tell people with me that I had dreamt or thought of this present moment and they would give me that awkward look. Please is this a gift and if it is how can I harness it better.

I also have the ability to wake up from dreams whenever I am been defeated rest a little and restart the dream from earlier, as in if I had dreamt for 10mins I would wake up and rest then rejoin the dream at 9mins. 1minute earlier before I was defeated. I think it's a trick of not losing any fight in my dreams most times when I try to defeat the enemy numerous times without success I wake up fully sweating and never go back to the particular dream.

I am just a church goer but deep down I always feel I am made for more.
I don't enjoy praying, I rarely pray but whenever praise worship is going on on service I feel lifted in my spirit.

If you get deep in your walk with God he will reveal your prophetic destiny. You definitely have the gift of a prophet but it is unharnessed. Prophet Uebert Angel operates the very same way you have described. He can continue dreams and visions from any point such that he sometimes takes breaks to get a pen and paper and then go back to his dream/vision.

He also said his imaginations are prophetic. If he has a random thought about someone, they end up always being right. This is apart from having regular open visions and knowing the future or past about people very wily-nilly. Another person who functions this way but this time in Nigeria is Apostle Johnson Suleman.

Had this unique dream. It was like in a living room watching a church program on telly. There was fire outbreak in the church and the senior prophet was running around trying to put it off. I was telling my mum that she should come and see this ministry/church going up in flames.

Suddenly it looked like a portion of our own house tried to catch fire too from charcoal/electrical appliances. I rushed and removed the cable from the power source to stop the fire.

What could be the meaning please?

This world is coming to an end, whether anyone likes it or not. The world is dying.



I remember the Lord spoke to me so many years back when I was quite younger. He asked me ‘What is significant about the year 2020’? And then He answered ‘The River Aphrah'.



I did not understand what He meant all these years. Some prophecies are so difficult to unlock because they have been reserved to be known only when their fulfillment time approaches.
But at the same time, God wants us to find things out by studying His word and drawing closer to Him.




When you do not understand a dream or say a word of prophecy, search the scriptures, study and ask God. For it is the glory of God to conceal a matter, and the glory of Kings to search out that matter. Proverbs 25:2



And so after so many years of pondering, studying and searching and asking God, my spiritual understanding became opened to this prophecy. I used to think that the ‘Aphrah’ God was talking about was a physical river (Afra) on this earth in Bangladesh. But now I realized that ‘Afra’ is actually ‘Aphrah’, mentioned once in the Bible by the prophet Micah in the book of Micah 1:10.



Micah was giving a prophecy from God; talking about the house of Aphrah rolling themselves in the dust. This was an act usually done by ancient people as a sign of mourning. Aphrah itself means ‘dust’. I never saw this in the Bible. I was amazed.


Now the prophecy God gave me is in connection with God’s word in the book of Micah, a hint for me to understand the mystery behind the prophecy.



River Aphrah isn’t about a river. But River Aphrah being the significant thing to happen in the year 2020 means that in the year 2020 there will be a great mourning and death in the world.


Prophetically,
River/Aphrah = Plenty or World death/mourning (and any other dreadful things that will cause great mourning and suffering in the earth).
I will not go into details on this.



I do not know what would stir a dreadful event to happen in the year 2020. Maybe a war, maybe some pestilence. I do not know. It might happen in some parts of the world or even in all parts of the world. But it will be a great occurrence, one that the world has never seen before. This prophecy was given to me so many years back, say 10 years ago or more, not very certain. But it’s meaning has just been given now.



This prophecy is given so that we can be on guard. Be watchful. Be steadfast in God. Be strong in faith and realize now that this world is not our HOME.


This just shows that God is truly who he says he is.imagine the accuracy in the manifestation of a prophecy given years before its fulfillment. @CharlyG1 May God continue to give you grace in this work. Amen
