My parents are Nigerians, so invariably, I'm also a Nigerian (at least, I have a Nigerian passport). So I'm not actually your guy if you really want to have an idea of what an American with no connection to Nigeria thinks about the country.

Now speaking as a Nigerian, I'd say NL does not paint a good image of the country. Heaven knows I'd never share this app with my non Nigerian friends, lol. Asides the fact that people are unnecessarily aggressive here, the herd lifestyle is disquieting. People of religion A think they are superior to those of religion B. Ethnic group C thinks ethnic group D is inferior. Region E people think they can't progress until region F people fail. The police/military believe they are higher citizens than the civilians. The men believe hardworking women are a threat to thier status as the superior gender. Straight people think it's thier God-given right to kill gay people. The politicians believe themselves to be above the law. The youths see gaming the system as being "smart". Everybody is blaming everybody else. Nobody is really willing to fight for true equality/liberty. People only cry out when thier own herd is at the receiving end of the discrimination. And then everyone acts surprised when the leaders aren't angels. Where would the angels come from? Lol

BUHARI just worsened everything.
