Please I would like to ask about how you went about your health and care visa application Was it DIY or you went through an agent. If it’s DIY please I would like a few guidelines and if it’s through an agent I would like to be linked up with such reliable agent. Blessedboy21219: You probably didn't pay for the service to be texted but be rest assured that the passport is ready and she has been issued the visa. It's easier when the person has a traveling history especially to the UK. If she has been denied, she will have received the mail stating reasons for denial. |

Ezepikin: Your brother's application will be treated separately and independent of your wife and kids' application. Irrespective of same surname, it doesn't help his chances if he's not found eligible. He needs proof of funds available to him and a solid source of income. A strong tie to prove he will return if granted visa. From your above post, it's obvious his chances aren't too good. They will smell the sham from afar. Call let's guide you through the process. |

Ezepikin:Depends on why you want him to travel also, every application is treated on its own merit regardless of number of people in the group so travelling with them would not influence the outcome of his application. “Good salary” is relative and when you convert it to pounds it doesn’t look as good.I personally would not advice you sponsor so many people at the same time especially as your brother is an adult. |

Thanks for your feedback. I actually want to build his passport. So will it be better if i apply for him alone and stand as sponsor? Secondly, can you address my 3rd question about scanning documents or submitting it physically. Thanks so much. Ezepikin:That would be his first visa with no family/friends in the uk so ild say you apply for Tourism visa 6months.How old is he?.Above 18 and not in full time education he would need to provide his own statement of account so transfer money into his account and write a sponsorship letter stating he is your biological brother and he deserves a holiday bla bla bla the amount you transferred/date and what it is to cover. Whether you choose to scan or submit documents in hard copy is entirely up to you, what matters is they get the documents. Hope this helps. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 12:42pm On Aug 16, 2021 |
All visa applications and documents are submitted electronically. If he applies, he will have a profile to upload these documents... so yes scanned copies. There is no submission of hard copy anywhere You need to explore what ties your brother has to Nigeria. Without been seen to have adequate ties to Nigeria, he cnt get a visa as they see all applicants as potential overstayers until proven otherwise. It is not just enough reason for you to say ‘you want to open his passport’ as there are several countries he can go to besides UK to do this. Point is , get purpose of trip and ties to Nigeria sorted. Ezepikin: |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mrczar(m): 1:59pm On Aug 16, 2021 |
Guys, Plz I got refused last wk. Although the application was done by an agent. I regret using an agent, ordinarily I would have done my research and applied myself. The question is: How soon can I reapply? If reapplying do I need to explain reasons that lead to the initial refusal? Is it advisable to use just my salary account instead of including another account. Plz I will appreciate a thorough guide on how best I can reapply and as well avoid future refusal. I’m also thinking of how to address travel history, which affordable country can I travel to so as to build my travel history.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Nchabuomo: 2:07pm On Aug 16, 2021 |
mrczar: The main issue isn't the travel history, you were refused because of your finances. Your finances isn't clear. Why would you want to spend ×5 your monthly income for 20 days? Explain the large sums deposited in your account. |

Thoscine:after getting COS is to make an application for a visa depending on the category eg skilled worker visa. Then you need tb report from IOM in Lagos or Abuja, and also might need police report if your job involves dealings with vulnerable people. Go on and apply. 1 Like |
