No application is the same. On this platform, we have seen people who got approved with just funding letters. Nobody can actually predict IRCC but to be on a safer side, its better to submit personal bank statements irrespective of the amount in it. If he or she does not have up to 1.5 Million, he or she should at least submit his or bank statement to show that he has a reasonable inflow and outflow of funds. Best wishes. Following nairaland we have seen people that did not meet NSE request and got approved in just two weeks i think thread 18 has this story while people who met NSE requirements are waiting for months. Still on nairaland someone forgot to add SOP to his application and still got approved. No application is the same. Just be prayerful and keep hope alive.
EmeeNaka:
Getting scholarship doesn't remove the need for proof of Funds and proof of asset and establishment. He must post his bank statement showing that he is well established in his country. Because the Visa is a TRV, he is expected to return to his country after the study, so you must show them what will bring you back to your country. Bank statement and other asset are important way to show that you have been doing well in your country and not afraid of returning to your Country. So, let him/her package his bank statement and send to IRCC.
Without Personal Bank Statement showing enough funds, because here you didn't say he has a Sponsor, he may be denied for lack of Personal assets and not being well established in his own country, regardless of the scholarship.

Thank you so much but I forgot to mention that my visa is already approved because I did upfront medical.
By the time my visa arrived my medical just had less than two months to expire and I wasn't ready to travel to Canada at the time.

Now that I am ready to travel, I have sent a renewed medical form but it has not still been updated.
I feel like I need to sort this out before travelling.

PLEASE I NEED EMAIL ADDRESS TO IRCC IN CANADA.
Thanks

What is showing on your IRCC portal for medical, is it showing review of medical or document is invalid?

PPR alerts
You guys will have to forgive me I am sending this late. My PPR came out on August 10th, 2021 after one year. I applied for my study permit on August 9, 2020. On Dec 19th the embassy sent a mail requesting me to write IELTS and submit before 30days, which I did. Dec 19th was the last time I heard from them up until July 22nd, 2021, where I was told to submit my medicals.
The miracle that happened is this. I did my medical on August 4th which was on a Wednesday and the hospital told us it was going to be uploaded on Monday. I did not even check if it was uploaded or not all I got from the embassy the next morning was the passport request mail. I could not hold back my joy and tears. I mean I have waited this long for this. I was already done with the first year moving to the second year now.

What I did :
I sent a mail to the Parliament in Lethbridge and Calgary
I sent IRCC my transcripts, enrollment letters, and tuition receipts
I sent emails and web forms every time.
Lastly, I prayed and fasted. I can't count the number of fasting I did. I thank God it came out positively
I am so sorry this is coming late.

I pray for everyone still waiting that God who turned my waiting to testimony will do yours speedily. Amen
I learned a lot from you guys and I will forever be grateful for this platform.

I did mine today,
1 - Face mask (very important, I ended up buying for #500)
2 - Don’t be late (I was late and it was costly)
Two copies of the following document (they must be in colored, except for the appointment letter which is fully black/white):
3 - Data page of passport (Don't forget, it must be colored)
4 - Appointment letter
5 - Biometric instruction letter (print all the 3 pages, *colored)
6 - International passport (it will not cost you anything to take it along with you, in-fact it was required today)

*Print everything before you get there because printing is very costly in the vicinity.

Thanks

Lekiboboe:

Go there with your
- Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL)
- Appointment letter
- Your International Passport
- 2 Coloured Copies of your International Passport Data Page

Make sure you print the above documents before going to the Center, cos if u don't , u would be left with no choice than to print them at an outrageous amount at the center

Note: Ignore any tout or anyone that comes to meet you that you need Passport Photograph, it is not needed

There's no need to be sorry for making enquiries. However, you'll be better off asking such question in the threads below.
I must add, it's harder than ever to get Canadian PR without schooling route. What's your age and did you order for GCMS note after application refusal?

Yes I did. Age: 27.
Reasons for refusal was lack of progress of educational work. I used an agent then and I believe I totally made a shamble of the last application. The agent suggested I applied for post-secondary institution degree at NBCC.

Please, write to them immediately. Also, contact the MP of your school region and beg him to contact IRCC on your behalf, that will quickly made them to send the Decision without further delay.

Hello Nairafam,

I have a question for those who have enrolled in classes in which physical presence was required. How was the process like? Were you able to enroll in classes as soon as you got approved for your visa? or did you school require you to see your actual study permit first before being allowed to enroll?
