Did you have TWRP install already on your phone?

Try to boot to recovery to see if it hasn't been replaced with d stock recovery. Press volume up and power buttons simultaneously

Download the recovery ROM that was shared with you and flash

Now flash the Global Recovery rom zip file. Click on wipe, clear data davlick and cache. Next click on install, look for the Global recovery rom zip you downloaded and install. Enjoy

Note: Whenever there's a new MIUI update, do well to download the full recovery rom and flash with TWRP. No more direct update again

I can boot to fastboot, it's just that it's taking time to show the "success" signal after clicking flash. Waited for more than an 1hour.

The way the redmi logo was showing(comes on and goes off simultaneously), and the unlock key signal above the redmi start up logo, fear just set in.

Hello Whyred Xiaomi.eu fans. Been a while ... Flashed the latest Miui 12.0.3 stable 2 days ago after it dropped sometime last week, and it's been smooth... as always. I've been on the weekly version for months eagerly waiting for the stable version and it's been refreshingly beautiful & fluid since installation... A bit of minor additions & some bug fixes.

The latest stable would be most likely the last major update for Redmi Note 5 Ai/pro.. I don't see Miui 12.5 happening for this legendary machine, but Xiaomi know how to surprise fans! Maybe it has been announced officially it won't be getting the update, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed lol. There're tons of Miui12.5 (Android 11) available for whyred via ports & AOSPs , but I don't do ports or AOSP! It's Xiaomi.eu or nothing

I intend to squeeze out at least 2 more years from this amazing super horse! It's been over 2.5 years in this satisfying journey & the battery among other essentials remains strong and healthy. Maybe Xiaomi.eu made it a bit more worthwhile as I installed it the very day the phone was delivered via AE.

By 2023 I'll review my needs as to whether to upgrade or not.. Definitely by then, Xiaomi will have come up with a much more sophisticated device.. Probably Redmi note 15 running on Miui 19 .. But una see this RN5 Ai in particular, I'm not giving it out to anyone when I'm ready to upgrade; it is going straight to my private museum with Xiaomi.eu installed init! No jokes o
