Bible also says that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.

God says I shall put my laws in their hearts and in their minds will I write them.

God now works and judges with men / women according to the knowledge of his words in their conscience. That is the new testament.

Wearing trousers is not a sin, but the motive is a sin most times. If you are wearing it to seduce and bring men down, it becomes a sin.

This is where temperance comes in which must be applied by the shepherd and flock.

Please pray that holy spirit should beam light of his word to you as you read it always.

Exactly, exactly! This thing of Africans being overly religious is what's holding us back. Dress codes were made by people, not God! it could have been the other way around,we as men could have been the ones wearing skirts and females trousers and would have been considered normal.

Don't mind them... It's actually more of a cultural conflict than religion.

In any case, the old must give way to the new... Things are changing fast! Even Deeper Life of today is no longer as "Cultural" as they were back when! grin

I am very sure no sane preacher will call an alcoholic beverage a thing of sin nor drinking it...

However, it's what you do after intoxication that becomes not only SINFUL but profane and even lawless! Things which you end up regretting when sober (E.g a girl getting knocked up after losing her inhibitions due to intoxication).

So, it kinda makes sense to completely avoid it if you can't drink it responsibly (As clearly stated on the bottle).

The scripture that talked about not wearing men's clothing should be used to address cross-dressers

Who say trying is for men and skirt for women? There is no trouser in the Bible and the choice of dress is a matter of culture and tradition. In Scotland, the traditional dress for men is skirt. In some part of Nigeria, men dress in wrapper. Let's stop creating our own law as biblical doctrine.

do you also know that women trousers cannot be worn by men. A garment having two legged position does not mean it is for men. Women’s two legged garment are made to accommodate the women’s hips. Which cannot be worn by men. Back in the olden days men use to where what we today call skirt and gowns for women.

Which clothes are for women and which one is for men?
When this law/passage you just quoted was written, was there anything like trousers?
Did they know then that one day, they will be something like trousers?
Are you saying that women can't be in trousers and at the same time, be decently dressed? Or that God doesn't care whether they are well dressed or not as long as they are wearing trousers?

If we are to start interpreting the Bible the way you do (like a biology text), I will tell you that the Bible didn't mention trousers or any cloth in that passage and the gender it belongs to but no, the Bible is not your school text book.

Stop reading it like your ordinary text book.
