Hello everyone, Do they issue co-op work permit at the airport or you apply for it separately? Thank you |

Gilb231:I am not a guru I will say no two applications are the same, but you have to write a convincing SOP highlighting reasons with pictorial evidence why you will be going for an advanced diploma instead of m.sc in micro biology. Secondly, transfer some money to your personal account because Visa officers want to see an unencumbered funds. For the GIC pay something slightly higher than the required funds, lets say $12k. Lastly, your age or marital status does not matter, what matters is your ability to genuinely convince the V.O. So take time to craft a detailed SOP. Good luck |

Davidganna10:First of all thank you for your answer Please what sort of pictorial evidence are we talking about here. Picture of me working in IT ? I actually choose IT/tech because I have more experience in the field also technology is taking over the world and more job opportunities. Plus I graduated with a 3rd class so there is no possibility for MSc microbiology. @Davidganna10 |

Gilb231:Picture of you works or sites where it can be found. Picture of your office or work station. Pictures of your transactions with clients it can be a WhatsApp messages or other social media messages. If you are a freelancer you can screenshot your page, showing the amount of work you have done, pending projects and earnings. If your business have a social media presence you can as well link it. Good luck. |

Hello House. I did an upfront medical Examination and it was updated to pass on July 2nd. I got a medical request from IRCC on 1st of September. I raised a webform to upload the evidence that I have done it as upfront on September 1st. No update nor acknowledgement up till now. I'm confused. Please what's your advice? |

GoldenCrown1160:Check with the place you did your medicals to see if they uploaded it. Also did you get any update on your medicals from IRCC? It should have been updated to passed by now. |

Dear Guru's, I need your advice. My program is only September intake. Should I reply for the program or I should seek another admission for January intake in another school. Awaiting advice from the house. Thanks |

Teemenzo:I started reading for mine 2 days before the test and I did okay. Got a 7.5. You can definitely ace it! You did it once already so you know how it works. |

I’m in the same place as you. I already started looking and applying to schools for January. I don’t know how that’ll work but just keeping my options open. Hopefully somebody with more experience will answer your question. Mummy4life1: |

Gilb231:Dear Gilb, Below are my comments from experience. 1. Program and level of study. It would have been wiser to do a post graduate diploma in IT seeing that you already have a bachelors degree in another field. Your additional qualifications and certifications in IT can help buttress your need for a PGD preferably one with a co-op. You can arguably present a solid case with your source of employment and company documents. Proof of funds . I should guess your one year tuition is about $16,000 and you have paid one semester tuition. This means your whole program amounts to $48,000 for 3 years, living expenses for 1st year $10,000. from the information provided you have about 10m for the process in your account after deposit of $8300. 10m black market rate is about $22,000 canadian only . This will show you have only $30,000 for the proposed study of three years whilst first year tuition and living expenses alone is $26,000 plus. You do not want to put yourself in a dicey situation as it would seem your company would go bankrupt if you use all the money for your studies and if you are able to pay for one year, with your business closed while you are away, how do you propose to continue the two years without working in Canada or becoming a destitute student ? these are just a few points to consider before proceeding with the application. you may need to reevaluate properly . A PGD is wiser and less expensive and your finances may be able to cover that. For travel history and home ties, you would have to work on that convincingly seeing that you will be folding up your business and using its funds to study unless you have a staff strength with proof who can run it in your absence. Regards |

Good morning everyone Thanks for helping me out with IOM Abuja booking. I still have an issue, I did the booking for my son and I, using my passport number for both bookings. My son's passport is yet to be ready but will be ready before the scheduled date for the medicals. I feel waiting for his passport before booking for medicals will delay my visa application process. Please house, will this affect our medicals? Thanks for your quick response. |
