What do you think about the upcoming election? Incase JT doesn't win this his gamble, are the conservatives immigration friendly?

Conservatives are skilled-migration friendly and that's the category most Nigerians fall under.

JT has been distributing money all year. If he can't win election now I wonder when he'll win.

Anyone In Fredericton NB who has a room to rent? My quarantine is almost over and I'm still searching. Airbnb in this town is freaking expensive.

If you have friends and family here, they are the best to help. Almost all landlords wants a guarantor which you wont likely have unless someone is here doing that legwork for you.

As someone advised earlier, airbnb may be you best shot, you can then search for your apartment after that.

Best wishes.

Thank you very much

I'm new in Canada, I tried getting a room from Nigeria on kijiji but ended up getting nonsense, 9 people in an apartment mostly Indian guys. The house owner never told me we would be 9.

Only to get to the apartment, and it was very dirty and unhygienic to stay as a lady, the rooms are so small with very little bed... Please if anyone has a decent shared apartment they want to rent out please I'm very much interested. Send me an email so I can come check it out.

Any conestoga student going for project management this fall? Please send me an email let's get to know each other.

Unfortunately, good apartments are expensive, the inexpensive ones would probably be in not so nice ares and shared by many people mostly Indians. I have seen Indians looking for a room and their budget is $300 a month.

Good morning all,

Please those that have already landed in Canada, if you first land in a province en route to your final destination, will you be given your student permit et al there?
E.g my flight will first land in Montreal, have a two hours layover before moving to Halifax. Will I be subjected to the Montreal arrival rules (covid test, student permit, etc) or will I still be regarded as a traveller till I reach my final destination?

Your first Port of Entry is where you will be given your Study Permit.

Check on Facebook Marketplace also for places to rent. You might be able to find better apartments there.
