Don't mind that guy o
If he was earning so much, why is he going around begging people to come and learn while paying learning fees

I have never seen a rich man begging the poor to come and learn from his source of wealth

While I subscribe to online business or side hustle, the truth must be told... It isn't that different from real time business, in the sense that you don't start making the real dough immediately... There are ups and downs, uncertainties, losses, inability to break even, etc...

These are pitfalls these mongers won't tell you... Just like a preacher telling you about salvation and the beauty of being saved while failing to let you in on the trials, tribulations, temptations, along the way.

Bottom line, start a side hustle or business (online or real time) but never kid yourself into thinking it will start paying you instantly (except it is criminal)... You must patiently grow, invest, and nurture it to financial maturity.

So, keep hold of your day job, except you have an inheritance, financial support or back up while growing that hustle.

Don't let these internet "millionaires" fool you!

Above all, never forget the cardinal rule: Never venture into anything because others are doing it... If you are not passionate about something, then it will be difficult to grow it as a business. I speak from experience.

Dear salary earners like me, how do you manage your salary with the current economic situation and high cost of commodities (more than 50% and above), how do you cope.

I did cope, by turning my back on god so I won’t have to give offering and tithe in church

It hasn't been easy at all

The first thing I do when I receive salary is to draw up a list of the things I don't have in the house and shop for them first especially foodstuffs because the worst thing that would happen to you is if you're hungry in this kind of economic situation

Then I subscribe for internet and my DSTV to keep me entertained in the house so as to avoid some unnecessary things that would make me peace my house and spend unnecessarily

I try not to carry a lot of cash around so as not to fall into the temptation of unnecessary expenses

Finally, as a single guy, I avoid slay mamas for unnecessary billing or if I can't, I'll just say things to get them upset and not apologising so that the drama will last long

Not to mention that I'm still acquiring skills to help me move out of this country and be useful outside because I can't allow my kids experience what I'mexperiencing
Respect to you baba! our unborn kids don't deserve it.

Preach brother!

And to think it will even get worse. We all should be planning our exit because there's no hope for this country, bitter truth. I'm not a fan of "leaving the country" but the way the country is going...........
Yeah, I'm not a fan of leaving the country either. But this country is heading no where

A friend was telling me yesterday that we can't get a job. Not even the unemployment that got me.

Like the way he sounded, he had given up all hope on this country and sees it as nothing for graduates to be unemployed

He literally laughed at me, coming top of the class with all my suffer head. Nothing to show for it.

Funny enough most of them are into cyber crime, that's what pay their bills.

Na God go help us.

I earn close to 60k minus the side gig.
Now my monthly expenses look this way,
1. Food & Groceries 8-10k
2. Tithes (y'all know the figure)
3. Transportation 3k
4. Siblings support and pocket money 8k
5. Miscellaneous 3k

N.B: I lived the MGTOW life so its the elbow to elbow lifestyle for me, no commitment and I stayed up north.

Folks should kindly factor in their locations while dropping their punchlines here.

How do u spend 8-10k for food monthly?

Food stuff has started coming down in the North.
Mudu of Rice is now about #520 in the village markets.
New maize and Corn is now #250 and #290 respectively.
Fives average sized tubers of Yam that used to be #3,500 is now about #2,000. But a kilo of cow meat is still is till high and btw #1,800-#2000 in most Northern cities.
Local or Foreign rice? Even if it's local it's still outrageous. I could remember less than a decade ago the vast majority of Nigerians shun local rice for obvious reasons, not it's a luxury not everyone can afford. I weap for my people!
