Big Congratulations to you.
After the case was re-opened for redetermination by another VO, what were the updated documents that you were asked to submit?

1. Proof of fund
2. Letter of Acceptance
and any other documentation that has changed since the last submission..
for eg, birth of a new baby, tuition receipt in case if you have paid extra tuition..etc

Yes you are very right asking people that got ppr to drop their timeline.... When I was packaging my application, I got lots of information from people's timeline... Even had to screenshot some and keep so I could check them while arranging mine...
So people please drop your timeline.. In doing so, you are giving back to this community.
Thank you

While i was preparing my application in 2020. I saw a well detailed approval timeline. The unique thing about this approval timeline was that, the guy's application profile was 65% aligning with mine. I took time to study all what he did as a first time applicant, connected everything together. His Approval timeline was very insightful.

in a nutshell, there is power in Approval Timelines

Payment has been received by Western Union Busines Solutions and is bn transferred to the MUN
Nevertheless I still requested for the telex copy from my bank. I will send it to my school with a copy of my payment status on GPWestern Union as I have already contacted the Finance unit of my school to notify them of situation.

I will advise anyone that want to make payment through CBN Form A to start the process on time. If any bank tells you trash just go to another bank or branch of the same bank.

Firstly, Access Bank declined the transaction and wasted my time for 2 days. I went to Gtbank I was told I had to open a current account, then Wema bank told it will take 5 days or two weeks, UBA said I must have had an account with them for six months. I didn't try First Bank because their head has never been correct when it comes to Foreign Exchange transactions. Finally went another Access Bank branch and it was done with ease.

What was the rate?

Greetings everyone one
I need advise.
I submitted my visa application August 27th, I did biometrics in 2019 so it’s still valid. I already booked for upfront medical for September. Is it still ok to do the upfront medical as I have already submitted the application or should I cancel the medical appointment and wait for the IRCC medical instructions before going for the medical?

I actually had two more years validity on the passport, I don’t want to come back to Nigeria for passport renewal that’s why i did it, you know how this country is lol, do you still suggest i update them now?

When did you submit your new passport?
How long do you have to wait to renew and get it back?

You welcome Chief .......Oh okay....

Unfortunately there are no funding opportunities for Business Analytics at PG. Cert level.

Assuming you had a Bachelors degree in Business Analytics or related program with a minimum of 2.1, the contents in the links below might have been possible. But you can still try your luck if a Professor of Business Analytics in a Canadian University finds you fit for his/her research group in (no assurance though)

Interestingly I heard there was a Naija guy in the US who guy got a Fully-funded Masters in a Program he had work experience in, lots of online courses and training on but a different degree. This might not be applicable to Canada though. So you might try your luck on USA cos they have more Fully-funded Graduate opportunities (scholarships) in lots of research areas than Canada

Congratulations to all PPR recipients. I refrained from quoting you all so that there would be space for many to testify on this particular thread. However, you can be sure I have "liked" your respective testimonies and I rejoice with you. For those who have dropped detailed timelines, God bless you. For those who are yet to drop, please endeavour to. This is where many of us learn from. Also endeavour to include documents submitted and peculiar circumstances in your timelines. There's no better way give back that this.

Once again, congratulations to you all. To those waiting for PPR, your testimonies shall come.

Love and light

Good morning all,
Please I have a question.
I deferred my admission and a little while after I got my PPR.
I haven't gotten a new LOA yet. Should I wait till I get my new LOA before I send my passport for stamping or can I send it like that
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Tinakem(f): 6:51am On Sep 10, 2021
Congratulations, mine is coming quote author=Temmynitemmy post=105663309]Good evening friends.
I'll like to share my testimony to encourage someone here. Should have done this yesterday but was pretty busy with work.

First time applicant
Submitted 12th May
Biometrics request 13th (checked for available slots but 24th May was the closest free date)
Upfront Medicals 21st
Biometrics 24th (uploaded on profile same day)
Medicals updated to passed 1st June.

Then......this wait began
Sent web forms in June to update my new passport and IELTS even though I didn't get NSE request

No update, nothing

Eligibility didn't start

Ordered GCMS notes in July. Notes came in exactly the 30th day but was pretty scanty. Only info sharing was complete. Eligibility was blank but was shocked me was that the notes mentioned that they requested for IELTS (a request that never got to me but thank goodness I already sent ahead)

***Please order for your notes if your processing Timelines have been exceeded****

In August, I sent mails to London, Accra, Nairobi even Canada to request for updates since my resumption date was fast approaching. I got generic responses for all.

I also sent to the MP of my province. She tried but got same generic response.

My school admin gave a deadline of 8th to defer.
I was about to write a deferral letter yesteday when I just decided to check my profile and saw Eligibility Started.

Few hours later, BVL dropped. 50minutes later, I got a PPR.

For everyone still waiting, Please don't give up, pray and have faith.
For those delayed, revive your spirit and fire back!

BTW, I'll be going to UNB.... Anyone heading to Fredericton this month end? [/quote]

So my timeline as promised.

First time applicant with zero travel history

Submitted 15th May with NSE requirements
Biometrics request 16th
Biometrics 28th (this was the closest available date, uploaded on profile same day)
Upfront medicals June 6th
Medicals updated to passed 11th June.

Requested for CBSA notes in July which came in August with blank eligibility

BVL and PPR request came 7 minutes apart 9th September .

My application was honestly by God's grace

Used my brother and his wife as my sponsors. My bro sent me one year tuition to my account which I paid through flywire using form A, his wife sent me 2.5M which was to serve as part of my living expenses, in all I had 3 million left in my account after paying my tuition. The form A was actually processed after I had submitted so I raised a webform to submit the tuition receipt.

For home ties I hinged it mainly on my family, my Dad, mum and siblings also spiced it with the CofO of my fathers property without any valuation.

My last paid formal employment was with Npower, for current employment I stated that I was into e-hailing (uber and bolt) and also into gadget sales there were no documents to back this up, however I included particulars of my cars (added under home ties).

That's pretty much what I submitted apart from my Sister-in Law's work particulars and bank statement, alongside my brother's CAC for his two companies (one of which was inactive).

attaching a copy of my table of content so you get an idea of what I submitted.

The knowledge on this forum is absolutely priceless, immensely and eternally grateful to all those that contribute to make this community what it is.

So u are going for second masters or what, this is the lord's doing. Congratulations to u. I'm thanking God in advance of my own too. I shall testify

Hello People,

Been long I have been here. However, today I got a medical request for my student permit application. My problem is there is no space available within 30 days to undergo and submit the medicals.

Anyone with experience on this that can proffer a solution or a way to go about it.

Thanks in advance.

or should i go for another masters

With your vast working experience and qualifications, a Second Master's program is the logical progressive step in your career and not a Post Graduate Certificate program.

I will recommend you visit Qlife family clinic or give them a call explaining the urgency for your medical test, I am sure they will make provision for you base on the medical letter issue to you by the visa officer.

Chief, this could have been you announcing your PPR only if you did Upfront medicals.

Anyways, you can try your luck by going to IOM or Qlife physically with your medicals request printout from IRCC and begging them to give you a date so you can meet the deadline. Good luck and congratulations in advance!

This is my first time on this platform and I would like to appreciate all the gurus for their wise response, I've learnt alot in the 10 mins of being on this platform.

Please I would like your advice, I applied for visa two years ago and was denied, please some one should please further explain the reasons for my rejection and how to correct it as I would be reapplying soon. Thanks

I regret to hear that your study visa was refused by the Canadian immigration authorities. It is important to note that your refusal grounds have been addressed by me on this platform far back in 2017. Kindly refer back to this ADDRESSED REFUSAL GROUNDS.

Pls I want to know what next to do, I just deffered my wife's admission as the school refused to give an extension or do the fall semester online, neither do they have winter intake. So I have deferred to fall 2022 as IRCC is yet to respond on student permit application.

Do I need to inform IRCC on my deferment of admission till Sept 2022? Or when PPR comes would it be valid till August 2022 for travel ?

Please be proactive by rasing a webform and inform them about the updated acceptance letter. Don't wait until PPR drops.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Godmakesking: 8:36am On Sep 10, 2021
Please send your passport immediately then inform IRCC through web form attaching your new LOA. It is for your visa not study permit. Your study permit has all the details of your DLI including start and finish dates which will be given to you at Canada border. Or after you get your passport back, you inform IRCC that you differed your start date to January or ... due to the delay experienced in application approval attaching your new LOA.
