thanks so much, my POF is ready , but I am considering , high rate of visa application for visa so I won't be delayed.

If your application is straightforward there is no delay . Submit your application , pay for walkin next day . You will meet up , if you can afford the super priority then opt for it

How did you resolve this please?
izyblaze:
Quick one, for those that applied for admission using Notification/Statement of result, but received CAS and noticed that, Certificate of Result was stated on the CAS, instead of Statement of Result. What did you do in this case? Did you go ahead and apply for your visa using the statement of result, or one should correct it with the school before Visa application?

If there's anything I've learnt about success is not to under estimate your strength, courage and hardwork. Determination is the key to success and there's no limit to what you can achieve . I know a person going to UK for a 19k pounds school fees , don't get me wrong this person ain't rich but she has this belief in herself and I know she'll scale through. Now if you afraid of the unknown, it's your weakness , if you believe you'll succeed. My advise believe in yourself or trust in a person.
Thanks a whole lot for this input, very encouraging.... I'd weigh this option up..

Please who knows if Ethiopian Airlines is ok to fly to London, any restrictions on the Airline?
Yea it's okay as long as you have £2200 to do dash the UK government.

Please avoid this airline and check the uk government website for an updated list of amber and red list countries

Well, you have to consider your options,
Are you for September or January
If for January, there’s a long study break between May to September, which you would be entitled to work full time and make some better wages.
If it’s a 2year programme, same thing applies.
You just have to confirm your academic calendar.
However, you should have some money saved to cover your deposit and at least first installment with some upkeep money handy..
If you’re very sure of getting the US scholarship, it’s a better option though

Thanks a whole lot for this input.
My admission is for spring(January) 2022 session. I deferred from September to January 2022.
And NO, the US scholarship isn't guaranteed.

Yes, its a 2 years MSc program.

Either you look for a 2 yr course which will make you pay 7500/yr or less which is more doable or go to the US

15K in one year is not going to be easy with studies

I sometimes wonder how lots on people on this thread want to do it without help from home
The course is a 2 years MSC program.
The admission is for spring (January) 2022.

I deferred from September to January 2022.

This issue was addressed this week o . Submitting same account balance for dépendants within the same period . The money isn’t sufficient for the whole family and it can be seen that you submitted the same account balance within the same interval. As it is looking they already know this scope , either you have complete money and apply once or transfer the funds and let your dépendants count thier own 28days

@justwise mine is similar to this but it's for 2years, 7500 for the first year and 7500 for the second year, I will be paying 4000 bfr leaving Nigeria and there is 1500 scholarship for me so the remaining balance is 2k pounds, and the remaining 7500 for the next year,is it possible to be able to pay it with the 20hrs a week given for students. Please answer this @ justwise

Your case is different

Oga, this is not about motivation. It's a matter of calculation and an objective feasibility study. Motivation will not make you able to work more than 20 hours per week, or to earn more than the average wages if you're doing part-time work. It will not make your school stop hounding you for your fees, or for the Home Office to penalise you (perhaps by denying you PSW visa) if you attempt to work illegally to earn 15k plus living costs, which isn't even really feasible.

Best to listen to your brother and take time to optimise your plans and save up before heading out.

Talk is cheap, 19K in one year working 20hrs a week? Tell that girl to learn prostitution skills because she will need it dearly to achieve that.

UKVI might have made a mistake here cause I don't see how £14k is less than £12k. I just think you should have applied together with the family since you already have the full funds for the whole family. I think UKVI is already suspicious of using the same account statement for different applications it raises a flag.

Please family applications HAVE YOUR MONEY, I repeat, HAVE YOUR MONEY, make the applications together, move together. It's easier, less problematic and less susceptible to it being flagged as SUSPICIOUS.
This issue is almost becoming frequent and UKVI is sure to notice it too.
Please go ahead and do your AR, I think you have a good case, like I said in the beginning, I don't see how £14k is less than £12k.

According to their analysis, your 2 dependents need £12,240 plus your maintenance £9207, total needed should be £21,447. So why were they refused if you have £23,934 in your account? Nawa o

Maybe I'm not seeing the mail well, I believe they wrote required funds as £12,240 and available funds (after deducting £9,207 for the main applicant's maintenance) as £14,747 or so.
Please how is this insufficient?

The problem now is . family application is being flagged already . I think it’s just best to apply together with all the funds or transfer the money separately let them count their own 28days .

Family application being flagged? I believe that's if the funds are not complete. We've seen many families here who got their visas without a single hiccup. Like you said, it's best you have all the funds and apply together.

Seems the CW miscalculated.

If you have the patience, submit an AR as it's an easily winnable case.

If you have the funds, reapply and clearly iron out their errors.

I think you should initiate an AR, since its dependant application and no issue with missing classes because of delayed outcome. Looks like an obvious error and a resolution can be reached after review. From past reviews, when the error is clear and obvious, you might be able to get a response in good time.
