GreatMage:
Good morning house;

Please I just graduated from the university with a third class degree in Computer Science.

I really need urgent advice:

Should I apply for a diploma to supplement my third class or apply directly to a masters program?

And I will also appreciate links or names to schools that will or have taken in any one in my dilemma.

Thanks very much.
Hi honorable,

Don't apply for a Diploma. A Diploma is lesser than a Bachelors degree. A Third class grade is not an excuse to apply for a diploma cos it shows no Career Progression. It could cause a RED FLAG to your STUDY APPLICATIPON. As a Fresh Graduate at that, a PG. CERT is your best shot.

Third Class Graduates do get admission for POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS (PG. CERT), i have seen lots of them, they all packaged their admission application which boosted their admission chances. So in a nutshell you need to package admission well to boost your admission chances, so as to show the admission committee of the college or colleges that you gonna be a best fit for the Program you want to apply for

What area or areas/specializations/branches of COMPUTER SCIENCE are you looking out for?

Please go ahead and do upfront medical, they will give you a slip, you upload that through webform or wait it out, the hospital will forward to IRCC and it will be updated on your GCkey with time

he was giving his own opinion. You can give yours too.

NB: I was the one asking the question. So you can as well give your opinion, do you think there is an atom of positivity since eligibility review changed from Review Required to Recommend interview?

Good morning, please I need detailed steps on how to get to Q-Life family clinic in VI from Berger bus stop. I need names of junctions/bus stops I'll need to alight from. I don't live Lagos so I don't really know Lagos and I don't wanna get lost or get there late.
from beger, take bus to marina. Drop at marina, enter bus going to eko hotel or zenith bank headquarters. Drop at zenith bank headquarters. Keep going down or ask people around there. Qlife is behind zenith bank head quarters.

MY PPR don drop ooooooooo

It's quite an experience.

Application submitted may 15
Biometrics may 20
( Normal route)
The wait began.
I was tired to the point I decided to travel to various countries to avoid overthinking. Then, I got to Kenya.

On August 6, decided to go to Nairobi office to enquiry about my application but they told me to come back August 9. I went back and I was told they are on it. Well, I hoped they were and I went back to Nigeria.

September 17, correspondence and passport request.

I never submitted webform but make I no lie, my mumcy waka. She waka well well on my behalf. I'm grateful for this opportunity.

Docs submitted:

Personal Bank statement (8m)
Sponsor bank statement ( 100m)
Employment letter
Confirmation letter
Promotion letter
Reference letter from.my school principal

How do i apply for work permit along side study permit, as stated in my LOA?
My program has an unpaid work requirement as stated in my LOA, though i mistakenly choose the non-coop option.

My program is non-coop, am i to apply for work permit?

It's you who attacked me for no reason when my post clearly stated that I wasnt responding to the person specifically,i was only generalizing the issue of "recommend interview" ..like I wish it actually meant just approval and not "approval or refusal"..you attacked and now forming victim when I gave it back to you..
Original writer in my own context meant the person I responded to ,not you.. you inserted yourself for no reason.. free me biko

Good day, Nairalander,

I was rejected on the 15th of September, the reason is financial status and assets.

However, I saw an opening at Cape Breton University for MBA. I have few questions concerning this

1. My degree is B. A in English language does it affect my chances in MBA? However, in my current job, I am a sales rep and also I do have a business I run.

2. In my previous application, the course of study is public ethics does it affect my current application?

3. Reapply soon for a school would it look desperate or I should chill for the next fall? My gscm note is yet to arrive, I won't apply yet until I see my note and what it says but I was thinking to secure admission.

I don’t think your HIV status is the reason, and even if, they’ll never state it in the gcms notes ‘cos that would amount to discrimination. However, still order your notes to know the real reasons and also check if your medicals were passed.

my medicals hasn't been updated

How did I attack you? By asking for your own opinion? How am I forming victim? By explaining I was the original poster and needed people's opinion? Like I said you can do better. I have gone through your previous posts and I know you don't worth my time. Good day Mrs

Congregations. Talking about the affidavits of return to Nigeria after completion of study, what if you get to Canada and see a nice job offer after graduation and decided to stay back won't it have effect? I want the Guru in the house to help answer this question as well.

You really don’t need an affidavit of return……your sponsor should indicate it on his/her letter/affidavit of support that he/she will make sure you leave Canada at the end of your studies

What a Mighty God I serve.

I believe most people have been seeing my post about my medical report situation.
I submitted my application on March 30 and did my biometric on April 6.
I did my upfront medical on May 28th and it was updated as passed on June 2. Surprisingly it was removed on September 1 and I was sent a medical request letter.
I was confused and disturbed and even lost appetite. I raised webform with the submission of the upfront medical sheet I was given as advised here. No update from IRCC.

Alas ! Yeshua did it.
I got PPR this morning at 8:58am.
Timeline
Application date March 30, 2021.
Medical Upfront May 28
Medical request September 1.
BVL & PPR September 17.

I pray that for everyone who is expecting PPR, God shall make it happen. Keep praying and thanking God in anticipation and He will do it. It's testimony galore.
I love you all.

Hello friends,

I hope you are all doing well. My sister that had the issue of refused deferral with the University of Calgary got her PPR on the 14th. We took a gamble and started online, since all her courses had moved online anyway because of the Delta variant crisis in Alberta. Here is her timeline:

Application date: May 21 2021
Biometrics Request: May 22 2021
Biometrics done: May 25 2021
Medicals passed: May 24 2021
PPR: September 14 2021

Submitted Admission letter, proof of full tuition and accommodation payment, SOP, copies of short course certifications done and sponsorship letter from our dad.

Since she has paid accommodation for one year (of a 2 year course) and full tuition, how much should she have to show at the point of entry as proof of funds, and how can she show it? The sponsorship letter said that our dad will be sending her upkeep monthly.

My other sister is a May 15th applicant, still waiting. May PPR come to her and all of us waiting, amen.

Thank you all in advance!

My people, good morning !

My other sister was refused today. Based on personal assets, financial status, and that they are not convinced she will go back based on purpose of visit.

They used an agent and her husband gave her his statement of his car business and an affidavit of support. They had only been married for a few months when she applied. She paid half of one year tuition for a two year course.

She requested GCMS notes on the 14th of August but hasn't received it yet. Will this notes have the most recent update of the VO's notes, or should we order another?

After we get the exact reasons, we will be back to re-apply, with all your help please.

To all expecting, your PPR is coming by God's grace.
