It's quite an experience.

Application submitted may 15
Biometrics may 20
( Normal route)
The wait began.
I was tired to the point I decided to travel to various countries to avoid overthinking. Then, I got to Kenya.

Congratulations..... It has ended in praise.
After your visit to Nairobi VAC, you went on radio silenced..... Anyways, congratulations again

This week was a quite low on PPRs and more rejections. Let us pray that God will do wonderful things for all of PPR hopefuls next week. Happy weekend everyone.
Stay safe.

Alhamdullilah it has ended in praise for me.
This journey has been on for me since 2019 after leaving highschool but I thank God that it has finally ended.
My original destination was the US but my mom didn't want it because of gun violence and we had no family in the US so we settled for Canada. I applied for admission to University of Manitoba since that's where my sister was and got admission since November 2019. Unfortunately that was when the wait now started. cheesy

Congratulations....... It has ended in praise.
I was looking forward to your testimony, thank God, it has come. God did it, glory be to His name. Canada will favour you

What a Mighty God I serve.

I believe most people have been seeing my post about my medical report situation.
I submitted my application on March 30 and did my biometric on April 6.
I did my upfront medical on May 28th and it was updated as passed on June 2. Surprisingly it was removed on September 1 and I was sent a medical request letter.
I was confused and disturbed and even lost appetite. I raised webform with the submission of the upfront medical sheet I was given as advised here. No update from IRCC.

Alas ! Yeshua did it.

Congratulations... God did it.

You dropped timeline after people practically forced it out of you.

Look, enjoy yourself in Canada and don't let me give you the response you deserve.

Hope you realize it's lack of manners that's making you ask someone who you don't know if they are okay?

Whatever opinion I give about you here has nothing to do with what God is set to do for me so don't give me this lame Nigerian mentality Prayer. Iranu!

You will need to get to DHL office.

Signed consent form
Letter of passport request
2 photocopies of passport profile page
Original passport
On a white sheet, write your email address and phone number
The yellow/white/blue slip as your colour might be, issued you after your biometrics.

You will fill and sign the 2nd page of the consent form.
Then you pay the transmission fee charged by the courier you are using, either 2 ways or single.

Yes, I uploaded the Visa to my admission portal and it was approved but the enrollment was not sent to me automatically and it is not showing in my admission portal, so I sent an e-mail to the school asking for the enrollment letter and I was replied this morning that I will only get it when I arrive in Canada.

PPR Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, it has ended in praise!!!
To the glory of God, the “container” of my wife’s PPR just landed safely in the harbor of her email address on 10/09/2021. The feeling is better to experience than to imagine. I pray for as many who are desirous of this experience that God who did it for my wife will remember you in the name of Jesus. Amen!
Frankly speaking, it has not been an easy journey but I’m glad how the good Lord has helped us thus far. The story behind this Canada dream is a very long one. I will try to abridge our story just to encourage someone here. By the God’s grace, we will surely share the full story someday.
I don’t know the stage at which you are on your journey, please I want to encourage you to believe God, do your best, (Do your research, read as much as you can, ask questions where necessary. There are tremendous resources and good people who are genuine and willing to help here), be positive and hope for the best. DON’T YOU EVER GIVE UP!
Background Hints:
• Application for LLM (Law) admission in University of Manitoba was refused in 2014.
• Canada visitor’s visa (family) application was refused in 2015.
• An active Express Entry profile with CSR score of 441 which kept crashing after every birthday.
• Received SINP ITA with 68 points on 03/11/20 and submitted application for nomination on 22/12/20 and nomination wasn’t forthcoming (If you are conversant with SINP process, you know it’s a story for another day).
• Wife’s age is 41 years.
• 12 years’ post-graduation gap.
• Wife had a baby in Canada with a tourist visa.
In view of obvious realities before us, my wife and I knew that only God can make this dream a reality. Therefore, we changed strategy and reconsidered the study visa route again.
Timeline for study visa application
Applied to MSVU for master’s degree in public relations on 04/11/2021
Received admission for master’s degree in public relations on 14/12/2020.
We delayed the study visa application with hope that SINP nomination will drop (unfortunately, it hasn’t dropped even now). But we eventually made up our minds to submit our application in the second week of March, 2021 through NSE route in order to meet September Fall intake. Hence, the need for upfront medical with MBS and IELTS with hope that application will be processed faster within the 20 calendar days as promised then by IRCC.
Upfront medicals in IOM Ikeja on 09/03/2021.
Request for additional medical required for TB on 9/03/2021
Additional medical required done on 10/03/2021.
I was not afraid of the TB test because since we got married for more than 10 years now, there has never been any case/symptoms of TB in our family. I thought the TB test result will be out in few days. But my morale was down when I was told that the test result takes about 10-12 weeks (about 3 months) to come out. That’s time for the result to be out and not for the treatment assuming the result comes out positive. She was told by one the nurses in IOM not to submit her visa application until the TB test result comes out.
Somehow, when we heard the information that visa applications submitted before 15/05/21 will receive a decision by IRCC by 06/08/2021, we decided to prayerfully package our application. I reached out to Mr. Frank (@Frankrobbn1) who edited my wife’s SOP. We submitted on 14/05/2021.
Study Visa application Submitted on 14/05/2021
Appointment with IOM recommended TB specialist on 10/06/2021.
The TB specialist told my wife that there was nothing to worry about from the TB test result. The result was negative. Praise God. Miracle number one!
Informed by IOM via SMS that her medical result has been re-submitted to IRCC on 16/06/2021.
Then the deafening sileeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by IRCC. No eligibility review started. No update on biometrics from previous tourist visa application which is still valid. No ghost update. No real update. Except the standard “we are processing your background check” which has been there from the day application was submitted. If you don’t see/observe any significant movement on your application. Please, don’t be negative because behind the scene, the invisible hands of the almighty God may be pulling strings and orchestrating events in favor of your application as He did in my wife’s own.
As the long deafening and worrisome silence continued and became unbearable. I reached out to Mr. Frank (@Frankrobbn1) who advised that my wife should start sending incessant emails to IRCC Web form-Nairobi, lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca and nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca for an update on her application.
Medical examination passed on 10/09/2021
PPR container landed safely on 10/09/2021
Appreciation: Firstly, we give all glory and honor to the great and awesome God, the King of kings and Lord of lords who made it to end in praise. I want thank everyone for input on this platform. Special thanks to Madam Faith (@Faithyyyyy) for your support and your role in connecting me to Mr. Frank (@Frankrobbn1) whose professional touch/reviews on my wife’s SOP/application was phenomenal.
