Most times we Drs know the patients can't make it but we don't want to make the patients relative feel sad by neglecting their loved one. Euthanasia is still illegal in Nigeria but if it's in the Northern part of Nigeria it's a yes yes for me oooooooo. We have so many useless people over there who we can use for organ transplant/donation to pay off NIGERIAN debts. I wish Nigeria government can collaborate with US,UK, Russia and China to facilitate this cadaveric process because we have so many useless people over there.

It's not a weird thing to say. LASUTH was doing same with our own Nairalander DJOLA ... when Nairalanders were contributing with the hope that the hospital will do its best. It gulped close to a million Naira in tests after tests with more tests to come never ever resulting in any stabilization or improvement in his health. At last they turned to extracting money under the guise of palliatives until DJ gave up on them .... went home and died peacefully. Sanctuaries for vampires are what some of these hospitals are.... nothing weird about this.

Hospitals are in the business of managing diseases even when they knw very well that the patient can't make it..Well,Is not their faut though, they can only use what they have..Thank God for saving my mum last month..Mum was admitted and the doctor refused us adding supplements to mum's drugs..I called my sis who was with my mum and instructed her to ignore the doctor. I sent a product to help raise mum glutathione level..Believe me mum was discharge days after.And guess what,doctor was now asking my sis if we used something else on her.
