Big congrats to you!

Please can you or anyone on this great platform share a sample of the content of their webform appeals to IRCC and the different email addresses/links to send my appeals to?

I started classes for my master’s on Monday online and oh boyyyyyyyy, na die! Even though multiaccess classes are being offered for the fall term, I can’t cope with the online version. Classes are at night or midnight! Strict attendance policy - miss two classes and you repeat the course! Too late to withdraw or defer and this wait is affecting me psychologically.
I am the only African in my class and the only one left to get a visa. One of the course directors is a Kenyan diplomat and he even provided a letter confirming class starting and the entire course schedule, which I sent via Nairobi webform one week ago.

Since I applied 17th July (forgive me early applicants), I have only sent two webform ever - upfront medical and the letter from the course director.

II can’t cope with this online mode of learning. I need to be in Canada. Please helpppppp! sad sad

Good morning guys. Please help sharw your thoughts on this. For someone who has Bsc Accounting, is it advisable to study PDG Accounting (2 yrs) or Master of Management (1 yr)? She has Msc, but has decided to be silent on that. Also, she has work experience of over 10 years as an Auditor, but the pay is less than 80k (government job). She is into property business and event planning. Candid views please

Out of 41 pages, IRCC feels my refusal ground is 1 reason.

We move all the same.
Your UCI is your identity. Please remember to always keep it confidential and your name too.

Meanwhile, look for the summary of notes. That's where the VO will write his observations and the actual reasons for refusal.

Good morning everyone...

I'm I'm grateful for this thread. My stamped passport just arrived and I have deferred my program till next year Jan 10, please can I book my flight in November
30th and when uploading my new admission letter, do I need to state my reason for my deferral?

Based on the recent policy on ground now, the earliest you're allowed to travel is 4 weeks to your resumption date. You risk not being allowed to board if you travel earlier. Qatar Airways refused to board a friend of mine that is 6 days more than 4 weeks (30 days) from the resumption date. This may change later though.

You don't need to state your reasons for deferral to IRCC. They know they delayed giving you a decision so you couldn't meet up with your resumption. Just inform them you deferred and ask them to update your file with the new LOA.

Nice observation. This looks like a trend for that VO. It'll be good if he/she can be reported to any higher authority. The VO is clearly not being professional and thorough in assessing people's hard fought applications. Wasting people's time, energy and money is a crime
Let other applicants that got similar refusal reason check if it is the same VO

The VO won't be sanctioned, the reality is that we need grace of God for this Canadian visa because not everyone who qualified for it would be granted as they have required number of visas that can be granted each year. Thats why we see some "well packaged" applications still getting refused. Just like some people suggested here, JR can be done if the applicant can afford it, if not, just resubmit and pray for God's grace. Reporting the VO wont do nada.

lol. i am a lady by the way. despite the fact that I showed sponsorship letters o! I have held the funds since June 2020 in fixed deposit, I liquidated when they refused me cos my first note they said they didn't see any proof of finance, felt ok, they don't understand what fixed deposit letter looks like. now I liquidated and reattached the fixed deposit letters, explained properly that my savings were in fixed deposit and the money my sponsor gave me and i liquidated for purpose of MBS, yet they say it's lump sum and it is not a reasonable expense (like they are financial advisers) after paying 80 percent of tuition and showing over 12m in cash. Las las, some ppl destiny na once, some na twice, some na three times or more, some na judicial review. Im awaiting good news in the midst of it all.

what course are you going for and are u presently employed?

to me I would have preferred u trying once more after paying ur full tuition and opening d GIC plus liquidating ur cash.A well constructed letter of explanation, addressing all this,ur new steps to proof ur funds would help.Except if u dont presently have a job or ur job that u are coming back to is not well sort after hence the "reasonable expense" clause.Judicial review takes time though with this ur profile, I know u will succeed by Gods grace but it takes time nd money

Just thinking out aloud, if a trend has been noticed with a particular VO like in this instance, refusing well packaged application which should be approved, is that not an issue? it means that VO is not reviewing her/his cases diligently. That been said if two or more people should take up their cases reviewed by this same VO under JD that eventually result in settlement, then something would be done about that VO. I believe sometimes things/system/humans need to be pushed to get a desired outcome, just looking up to God for grace though great, might not be all that is needed. Cos if it were, Nigerians would be getting SP more than Chinese or Indians. But Las Las na their country, na we dey ask for Visa, so they can do n undo. Lol

I will advise her to go for the master's, but she needs to provide a strong SOP to explain why she is going for another master's, there is no point hiding the first masters. Some people have gotten visa whilst going for a second masters.

Hi Makano,

I couldn't get a date (within 30days IRCC gave me ) to do the medicals, the next available date is 9th November with Qlife.
Is there a way to go about it?
I also saw it on my medical form that if I couldn't get a date within the 30days window period, I should inform the IRCC office ASAP.
Will this in anyway affect the processing or influence the decision ?

that's y d gurus always advise upfront medical. I don't know y u ppl put urself in this unnecessary heart ache.if u had done upfront medical, this ur medical request will b PPR.now u will begin to stress urself nd on top of that lose another one or two months.

Anyway, go to qlife ur self and explain things and d urgency.someone did that on this thread and got a closer date.

my brother sm so sorry 4 ur refusal.u need to submit ur personal account statement. preferably ur salary or business account statement cos its somehow that a 35 year old person who has very limited responsibility will not have money in the eyes of d V.O.also it can serve as Economic ties.please void lump sum at this stage. If I were u though,I will pause and build my account for 4 or 6 months before I reapply. but if ur salary or business account is ok,then no need to build an account. Also, this ur uncle, does he bear ur surname,if not,u have to proove ur relationship with him.u shud have a family tree with evidence of relationship.

This foreign agent, has he handled study permit for Nigerians before ?. cos I prefer u use ppl like Frankrobbn1 ooo.He has experience with complex imigration cases. This V.O in Nairobi treat Nigerian study permit differently than other Countries o.its only in Nigeria we see refusal because the course u want to read is not a reasonable expense. Are u d one to decide what is a reasonable expense 4 d applicant even when the applicant has paid his school fees and shown all evidence that the fund is available, u still deny the person that d proposed course is not a reasonable expense

Lol, I have a job, I am a management staff, even explained how I was made acting managing director when my md resigned and I was considered as his replacement but I didn’t have the qualification. I’m going for masters of global management. I got study leave and my board gave me a commendation letter.

I explained that I had my funds in a fixed deposit account and I liquidated it for purpose of my bank statement. I attached fixed deposit letters showing I had been holding the funds since June 2020. My uncle gave me money November 2020, my mum gave me in March 2021 and I immediately paid my fees with it. I think I stressed it in two parts in my sop attaching gift deeds and all the docs in this life. Reasonable expense in itself is an unfair word and it should never be used, the VO has overdone and overstepped on its reasons, whether reasonable or not, the idea for all of us going to study is to improve ourselves.

Still they didn’t read that. The lawyer said I can do all things right in my next application and still not get it especially when there’s a bias of lump sum.

I have done GIC and paid my tuition, so once there’s a settlement I present it as additional documents. I just don’t want the 2nd refusal in my immigration record.

Sometimes visa approval is like getting admission to schools. They have maximum number of people that can be admitted thats why some schools put students on waitlist unfortunately its not like that for visa. Another funny possibility is that this particular VO might have even approved more visas than we know. I remember one white woman at booth 3 or so at the USA Embassy in Abuja, this woman is known majorly for refusing applicants, for almost 4 years or so, she's still at the Embassy, nothing has been done. In Australia, the VOs name are even put on decision notes, there's a particular lady thats known for refusals since 2016, and one Peta guy thats sure for approval and both are still working are still working till date. So las las, na make God help person.

Good day gurus in the house, Please I need help oh, although I submitted my application before joining this thread, I have gained a lot from all I have been really from thread 19. I got a mail from IRCC requesting for a letter of Explanation: Stating that I have indicated that my family is accompanying me to Canada and asking that I Please clarify whether they will accompany me for the entire duration of my studies. and also stating that If their stay is for the entire duration, that my children will require study permits and my husband will require an open work permit.
I have clearly written in my SOP that I am applying for a visit visa for them.
Please what do you people suggest, should I insist in my letter of explanation they we require a visit visa or do we use the opportunity to request for work permit for my hobby although this will contradict what I have initially written in my SOP. Please help oh as I need to respond to their mail.
my dear stick to visit ooo. This one fit b trap ooo.u said before that u just want them to visit so stick with it.even explain to them that ur husband currently has a job and ur children are in school and so they would just wanna visit and come back cos ur husband has a wonderful job .Use it to increase ur home tie.once u get ur study permit, u can apply 4 his SOWP.if u begin to change story now, they will think ur husband wanted to use d visit Visa to immigrate.

Honestly. If I didn’t have a job, or I didn’t explain why I am carrying 13m to study it can be admitted it’s not a reasonable expense. I even attached a research pay scale of how much a compliance officer of my caliber should be earning if I had a masters. They didn’t even factor in the fact that I had paid 28k of my tuition. My efforts were watered down. I was even more concerned it was cos my uncle is sponsoring me, but that didn’t even come up.
Lol I’m rooting for myself also. Thank you so much.

It’s clear. I wouldn’t worry much. But whatever you do, don’t liquidate your investment, if you have to, liquidate the amount for tuition into another account and cos it’s another war if you liquidate and reapply, they will call it lump sum. If you are lucky a good visa officer will understand, if not, another unmerited denial. So the second question, what financial institution did you use?

What also struck my eye is the pension thing, did you present your whole pension as spendable, if you did then that’s not true. Have your PFA do a letter stating that 25 percent will be available 3 months after, I always advise that have your main money and let your pension be an addition.
