Hello house, please I'm in a dilema and state of confusion right now and I need sound advise from experienced people here.

Me and my family supposed to travel two weeks ago but our covid 19 PCR test came out positive.

Though me and my spouse had malaria +1 and we are on malaria drugs and antibiotics given to us from hospital when we go for the test.
We have completed our Isolation and we have no symptoms whatsoever but when reading about retest online I came across a piece that said you can still test positive for covid 19 for up to 9 weeks even after recovery.

I want to go for another test this week and I'm scared.

For those that have gone through this kind of experience in the past, how did you do it?

Is there a kind of waiver for people who tested positive and recovered recently?

Is there another type of less sensitive covid test that is meant for people in this category and also acceptable by airline operators?

I look forward to your valuable advice.

You can't travel until you test negative! If you are still positive until your travel date the airline would gladly move your flight itinerary.

Don't endanger other passengers.

If in addition you do an antigen test some countries can allow you to skip quarantine.

Good evening everyone, I am trying to apply for a school and they said I need reference. To my issue, they said the reference must be in written format and I am not sure what that is. It should be written with hands (pen and letter headed paper ) or what?

Good evening, please I need response to this.

Visa Alert!!!

Submitted application- 2nd Aug 2021

Gave Biometrics - 9th Aug 2021 (Application transferred to DMC same day)

Received an email from UK visit visas that my application was just received on the 6th of September 2021 ( which was my proposed date of travel)- can you imagine?

TLScontact requested for my passport since i opted for "keep my passport" service - 14th Sept 2021 and that was duly submitted on the same day.

Passport collection email from TLS on 23rd Of September 2021, but i requested that it be couriered to my location.
Passport delivered with Visit Visa on 24th of Sept.

I have been to 8 countries and to the UK 2 times.
Submitted 4 months Bank statement showing my salary deposits and 4 months pay slips ( i recommend you submit 6 months though)
Employer's letter and appointment letter
Host's passport bio-data page and utility bill.

In my opinion, your financial situation is the most important factor in the decision making process.
Before you begin make sure to go around 1 year of information on the thread as all the questions you may have are already on here. Just take your time and you shall reap the rewards.
And most importantly trust in God to grant you favour.

I wish those still awaiting a decision on their applications success.

Please read the government advisory. Vaccination programme conducted in Nigeria isn't covered. As at now you will need to quarantine and pay for post arrival tests

[Repent before its too latequote author=rumuseh14 post=79147154]Hello house am new here. Just want to ask about the process of applying for a spouse visa. A British woman has indicated genuine interest to marry my youngest brother who he met when he visited. Her age is about 50 while he is about 30. What are the process he should follow and what are his chances of being granted a visa?
Please I need responses asap.

For those that have gone through this kind of experience in the past, how did you do it?

Is there a kind of waiver for people who tested positive and recovered recently?

Is there another type of less sensitive covid test that is meant for people in this category and also acceptable by airline operators?

I look forward to your valuable advice.

Jennifer92:

I just got a reply from the Pretoria visa correspondence saying that my application was resolved today hopefully that TLS will contact me soon I did my biometric 10th September

@jennifer92, I'm glad you got a reply from them. Congratulations in advance.

My Situation: Did Biometric (Priority service) on the 13th of September. Got a non straight forward email on the 16th. It's already 11 working days today and no email yet. Deadline to resume school is on the 30th of September, if not I'll have to defer till next year sept. I'm super worried at this time. My anxiety level is over the top.

My question now is,1) Did you state in your mail that there's a deadline for you to resume or how was your mail presented pls.

Also, 2) when did you send the mail and when did they reply back please. I want to know if I can send them an email at this point.

Lastly 3) which of these emails should I my concerns to: pta.visacorrespondence@fco.gov.uk OR PTA.visaenquiries@fcdo.gov.uk ( this is the mail they sent the non straight forward email through though).

Please, i need advice and guidance from you and everyone else here. Please help a sister. Thank you in advance y'all.

Hello everyone
Please urgent help needed.
I applied for a visit visa and did my biometrics on the 10th of September Abuja TLS.
Now my partner just got his COS which we had been waiting for for awhile now ( I went ahead to apply for visit visa because I had a conference to attend and we were not sure when the COS would be issued)
So the issue is we would all like to travel together. My passport is not out, no decision mail received yet. We have applied and paid for visa for the whole family, main applicant and dependants. Biometrics is Thursday this week.
Can we call ukvi about my passport with them informing them about my new application for a dependent visa now or do I wait for the passport to be released ( only God knows when). My partner has to resume in a month time and my conference is also starting on the 1st of November.
Urgent advice is needed please!!!!
Thanks so much
