I bought one small sized apple the other day for Two Hundred Naira.
After consuming the fruit, I began to reminisce on how I have planted apple seeds as a young kid and watered them every time. Sadly, none of the seeds I planted was able to germinate.

Growing up, I once heard that Apples cannot grow in Nigeria because the land is not fertile enough.

So, does apple really grow in this country?
Have you seen an apple tree?

Yes. There used to be a thread of a guy growing it in Nigeria. Though, for his own consumption though. Can't find the thread anymore.

I stay in Jos, apple grow in jos because of the cold region but not in a commercial quantity

100% grows in Jos plateau state. I can give location of a farm of apples in Jos though don’t know if they still maintain the farm cos it was a long time I visited [color=#006600][/color]

yes my dad planted one ling time ago, but the apple it produces are funny looking something like guava shape.

Baba,that is not real Apple Juice but only flavour(Apple flavours), sweeteners ,water etc.

We have tropical fruits, these are fruits that grow in Nigeria or Africa.

We also have temperate fruits which doesn't grow here like green apples

Apple grows in Jos. Very sweet red Apple. Though I have not seen the green one. The climate of Jos favours it's growth cos it's a high plateau climate. Outside Apple, Jos climate also favours the growth of other exotic crops like strawberry, Purple garden egg, Red Potatoes, lentils,and lots more...
