Do you believe or support them?

Perception Is everything. you might perceive the Southern KD and middle belt as not liking Igbos and they also think Igbos don't like them by terming the North as the same Including we the Minority that have nothing to do with Islam and the Hausas. I have got some Igbo friends who constantly call me Hausa and Aboki just because I'm from KD even when my names are all Christian names and I being a Christian. I just laugh at them and tell them I got no blood link with the Hausas, I have my own tribe and their are hundreds of tribes all over the north who are Christians. The thing is when the southern part of Nigeria chose to Identify us as Hausas like we are all the same. the reason why it's difficult and would be difficult to divide Nigeria is coz their are millions of minority groups scattered in every region that have been battling the majority tribes around them. so now when Nigeria wants to break up who will go with who?? for example the south south don't want to go with Biafra, neither does the south west, The middle belt don't want to go with the north, neither does the Northern Minorities. this thing is very complex but many southerners don't want to see the bigger picture on how the entire country is structured. they only think Nigeria is all about Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. but it's far from that. We gotta all give peace a chance coz we have been fighting the same battle from the begging of this entity called Nigeria and not making a head way. we need to evolve and learn to live together with mutual respect and understanding of our cultural and religious differences. we should concentrate on National building, make life easier for the masses and all this blame games and hatred will die an natural death.

You have a good point. Perception is the main issue, though the middle belt political leaders still identify themselves as north due to favour they hope to get from northern cabals and also the south eastern present governors are nothing to write home off, all they do is to be asslicking northern forces. Until the nation comes to a round table to discuss the way forward, Nigeria will keep running in circles. Religion, tribalism and oppression are the major causes of friction in the country. And unfortunately, the system is designed to ensure that people who have no business even in the management of village meeting are presented as presidential candidates across mostly all major political parties. Everyone is still catching cruise so they are not bothered for positive change.

What's happening in the Muslim world is obeying all the commandments of the most High to the best of our ability without leaving anything out whatsoever, and staying firm in the face of all attrition just as the Taali-ban's did with American invasion till the Nasrilah (help from Allah) comes.
It's on the coat of arms anyway you might want to check it out 'Nasru-minnallah' (victory is from Allah) written in Arabic.
Nigeria is actually a Muslim country from the onset, the colonial masters gave the Mantle of leadership to a Muslim cos they know we are in the best position to lead even though the vast majority of them are christians.
Maybe you should adopt a positive mindset towards islam without bias you will understand will islam is suppose to triumph above any other man made -ism's and -schism's

I actually read the whole article and it was an interesting piece of work. Kudos.

NB: I'm not believing nor disbelieving your work though. Until I conduct an independent research.

But I dont trust the journalist David Hundenyin. Implicating Akpabio to the death of the Akwa Ibom girl shows he is capable of anything.
he asked that the recording be released by the network provider and that's how the matter died

In bold: the insurrection against a no-Muslim president of Nigeria started from 1999 against the then president Olusegun Obasanjo, with political and religious leaders in the 12 far northern Nigeria states, unanimously adopting unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal laws.
The militant section for the enforcement of Sharia criminal laws to all the states in Nigeria, Boko Haram, quickly sprang up in the north east of Nigeria and started the bombings and war against Nigeria.

I couldn't connect the stuffs written there, bringing one thing or the other, anyway, it is expected, the rapid growth of Islam around the world alone seems threatening to them.
People have been talking about Boko Haram sponsors, why is the the Government not going after them? You think the next thing is to tag Boko Haram to Islaam? It's never going to work. The preachings of Islaam are clear to everyone. Peace, Love, moral standards, purity and Paradise.
Remember that they're extremists

The South was never sleeping.. They are peaceful and never wanted trouble... The fact remains, the northern have been brainwashed with whatever piece they have been taught, not been able to think and solve things on their own.
I've always wondered why the communities that were wiped out (over 1000) in the middle belt never rose to defend themselves then I remember an article I read, one defended themselves then the army came and and took their weapons that self-defense was wrong I think that same night they were wiped out

Thanks. You just proved the article right.

A lot of Northern muslims support and believe in the Taliban. A terroist organisation with extreme views that kill/maim people with different views from them in the name of Islam. The Taliban with views similar to Salafist and even Izala(to some extent) views here in Nigeria, which is actually the main argument of the OP.

That is troubling. It is very troubling

Taliban that has taken responsibility for many gruesome killings and terrorist attacks is what a Buffon is here justifying. Very heartless set of people.

Sir, if you believe all this, you will believe anything.
The northerners did not invest in Education, that's all! Despite all the nonsense of Boko Haram, Kano has remained a protected enclave and Kaduna didn't allow them to stay after the foiled assassination attempt on PMB.
It's those children they didn't train in the middle of serious poverty that became informants first and later terrorists of Boko Haram.

A new Northern Nigeria is emerging . It's going to protect itself from outsiders.
Bwaahahahahahahahaha grin

One question though what is even meant by islamization? I think Buhari has been president for about 6 years now and I have not seen anything like islamization, although I don't even know what that is. Patami I think has been there for about 3 years or so.
One more thing when we even say the North what do we even mean. The North is divided into zones. The average Kogi man speaks Igbira, one of the most peaceful state in the country is still in this same Northern Nigeria. But then again all Nothern Nigeria are "Muslims and Hausas"
So kogi is a peaceful state? Even with all the sleeper cells being cracked down in that state? Hmmmm...
BTW, kogi is middle belt.

Alas, Nnamdi Kanu was right.

The south should continue fooling themselves until these animals overrun everyone.

A muslim can live peacefully with a Christian and will even be just, fair and tolerate the person!

But a Christian can never allow a muslim drink water if they are majority in a place!

We have christians here in the north doing business in the midst of Muslims and prefer to stay here than in their own region the south!!....

Only northern Muslims consider Nigeria as one. And are peaceful and accomodate Christians

You hardly see a Local Government in the North without a Church. You have the right to build your worship centres anywhere in the North even in Sokoto close to the sultan palace we allow churches and even give Bishop Kuka d right to speak, lie and insult us.

We give you land to build your houses and Churches. You observe your religion without any molestation. You dress the way you want. We buy from you, and we sell to you, this happen only in the North!!!!!.

In return, what we get from you chrstians is genocide, molestation, and total rejection. We accommodate you here in the north, you pusue us out of yourir regions using false flag tactics of fulani herdmen.

Your chrstians killed Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa
That's the story you will NEVER tell your children.
The real traitors in Nigeria are chrstians.

Remember Kaduna Nzeogwu, who killed a man he once called father Sardau a of Sokoto?

Did you ever ask about the fate of Igbo Muslims?

We have muslims that are igbos but did you know how badly treated they are at their own region?

This Hypocrites must stop...

Don't t ever think Muslims are fools for been peaceful and silent!
Only christians? You MFers have problems everywhere you go. With Budhists in myanmar, with hindus in India with atheists in China. Even with other muslims. Is it not muslims escaping from other muslims in Afghanistan? Chaos everywhere you become a significant number

Did they wake up and start ' persecuting 'muslims?
We have videos on youtube of muslims burning down buddhist temples and places of worship in myanmar and even killing Buddhist monks. They capitalized on the gentle nature of the buddhists to keep causong chaos till the people had enough

China started that crackdown after a series of terrorist attacks and the muslim ummah there refused to cooperate in bringing perpetrators to book.
Look at the mess in Sweden. They welcomed muslims with open arms what will you say about that? They were persecuting muslims too abi?
