If you suffered all these, was it River or Lagos that inflicted it upon you. Why don't you take you case to FG and slug it out with them.
Canvassing for neutrality in the VAT matter is simply saying your region have been benefitting from VAT so we would prefer the status quo
Neutrality means that we have nothing at stake.
Ok let me pour all out since you can't grab from the signs.
Lagos is staking their Port monopoly.
Rivers is staking Igbo Oil wells.

But what are we staking?
Nothing. We have absolutely Nothing to lose but gain.
So tell me why we should interrupt the party?

You are a jelly fish.
Common sense should have told you that "dragged" in that context has nothing to do with force.
Rivers State want as many states backing them as possible.
Now you have not been able to offer the question of why?
Yet you claimed Rivers needed no support.

Ubulu eke!

The Court is still subject to the FG.
The supreme judges are still answerable to the FG and obviously under their control.

Rivers and Lagos wanted it to be a South vs North something. They want the North cornered.
But SE will not play your game. We have our own game to play.

You can continue crying.

Shut up and keep your grandiose delusions to yourself! Lagos and Rivers don't want your support in the first place. What support can parasitic states that feed off of Lagos and Rivers offer both States? Are you alright in the head at all? "We will only be dragged into it, if any of the warring parties offer us incentives." You mean Lagos and Rivers, both of whom your parasitic South Eastern states feed off of via VAT, should offer your parasitic States "incentives"? I've always known you Eboes suffer from mass psychosis, but your own brand is very chronic. Go take your meds or check into rehab. What a delusional dimwit!

Which constitution, policy or law monopolised Lagos port. The fact remains that Lagos port attract more patronage because of its economic advantage over other ports and not because of any monopolization.

You know that what triggered all these is the boundary adjustment issue that saw FG favouring Mr Supreme with the oil wells that are supposed to be in Imo in the first place.
Wike in a bid to get back at FG because the very existence of the confusion in Rivers is to stall Ndigbo came up with VAT as a means to water the loss.

Lagos wey be mumu come put mouth thinking that since Rivers which they calculated would be the only option to water their VAT by reopening Onne Port (rivers) is in the game forgetting that there is Warri port (Delta state). You now see why Okowa didn't waste time to sustain the heat?

In all this, if they win it will be a prryhic victory because
1. Lagos Port monopoly will be ended
2. Warri and Onne Port will be reactivated to Punish Lagos
3. Serious boundary adjustment will occur in Rivers state to punish Wike. This will favour Abia, Imo and Anambra.
4. To make the reactivation of the ports Viable, access road to favour the ports to the main destination of what used to come from Lagos port (SE) will be laid.

So you see. Its all win-win for us.
If the states lose.
FG will most importantly punish Lagos by reopening Onne and warri which will turn Wike, Okowa and Sanwo Olu from allies to competitors, then facilitate the Oil wells destined for Imo state to Imo State and more.
Though this one won't bring a big benefit for us but its something atleast.
Thats why we pray that Wike and Lagos win.

But please do consider this.

Our people have not learnt to deal with Non Igbos in Nigeria with the ruthlessness they truly deserve and have dealt with us in the past.

We need to evolve our thinking as per relationship with non Igbo tribes in Nigeria ASAP.

You hit the nail. And why is this issue not discussed in Igbo groups? I thought Slayerforever opened a closed Facebook group to that effect. It's obvious both Uzodinma, Umahi & Obiano are following this neutrality case seriously. Obiano and Anambra recently benefitted from being added to oil producing states.

Umahi is focusing on Igbo interest as regards a lot of burning issue. Uzodinma is not joking with the boundary adjustment to retrieve both ONELGA and Oyigbo from Rivers state. And the Supreme Court judgement for boundary adjustment is coming up this month if I’m correct. I also noticed that Imo state Governors from Udenwa to Uzodinma are following the template began from Mbakwe who started the battle to reclaim Igbo border communities handed to the SS.

Wike my smart Governor, seeing that Rivers might lose the oil wells battle to Imo decided to play smart with the VAT distraction. It's obvious Uzodinma is not taking non of that.

Who is the head of the South-East Governors forum? A lot of political battles are rearing their head. A lot of talking point. And I think since 1979, this is the first time Igbo leaders are putting Igbo interest first.

From 1995 till date, it was usually a pattern to support the south. SW and SS have always benefitted from SE magnanimity. I think it's time the SE play their politics right and benefit too. The era of fighting battles for others to enjoy should be a thing of the past.

You’re following your emotions again. And who told you IPOB is fighting for Igbo interest? Know this and know peace. IPOB, MASSOB and BZM are anti-Igbo. Relegating Igbos to the background was the intention of those who formed IPOB and that has been happening since 2001.

Both of us have discussed this in the past and many of you haven't still learnt your lessons. Look behind the facade and you’ll see the real financiers and those benefitting from the SE lapse in federal politics.
