It is a service not an app.

It is not a matter of update because no update is responsible for it actually. Even people that have never updated their devices are affected.

Turned off the phone to restart and the deadbolt happened. It is quite annoying that Xiaomi doesn't seem to care about this. A 3 months old phone

I dnt want the deadboot issue to happen to the phone if he update it. I think it's best he stick to this cos he's still able to turn off and on the phone whenever he likes.

I've been having issues with upgrading my note 8 for the past 5months, I tried upgrading both automatically and manually no improvement still, this stuff has been causing me network issues too

What's the course of this problem?

Tho I do not have issues with mine and using since February, but the more I read about people the more I get scared.

Use Wi-fi. Also hope you have sufficient space to both download and update the phone?
