@ Keet18

From your Refusal note, Point 11 was highlighted. This point generally means the visa officer concluded that the application isn't satisfactory to him or her. Its a very common refusal point especially with no travel history on your part.

Now in my opinion, kindly request from the Engineering firm to do another letter of invitation to you in your Company name with new training dates and send same to the Embassy as well informing them that you have been invited for this training and its importance to you and your company.( Reason- clear the doubts of some Nigerian Drafted training invite)

Is the training free or Paid for? If paid, then attach evidences of Payment.

The other appliciants are they from your Company as well?

I paid for the invitation letter but didn’t pay for training
The goal was just to visit France
The previous invitation letter had my company’s name on it

Should I reapply with same documents I used in previous application and add my COVID vaccine card
Covid vaccine card is inconsequential. They said "Justify your trip" - prove beyond reasonable doubt why you want to go for the training.

- Provide the invitation letter from the engineering firm clearing stating the type and manner of training that will be done, hours per day, learning points and costs if applicable (in English & French)
- Tell the firm to provide their SIREN, SIRET and/or APE number which you should submit with your application
- State where you will be staying throughout the training and if possible, show evidence of booking
- Submit your CAC docs, and explain how your company will benefit from the training and project/work you have done that relates to the training
- Ties to Nigeria : add your marriage certificate and pictures of your family
- If you have a concise version of your business plan, add it.

Like they said, Justify! or you could just apply for a normal visit visa (tourist)

@keet18

If the Goal was just to visit France, you should have just gone straight up for a tourist visa. Applying for a Tourist visa at the point would further cast doubts already in place with the first refusal. Except you are willing to give some months apart.

Kindly do a new application, have all the necessary documents attached and have the company do the needful since its a Non paid training with verifiable documents.

To my observations. ...... If the invitation was sent to 4 persons in different company and they apply at the same time. They might sense is not genuine and denial you people. Try and apply alone.

Is it agent that arrange the invitation for you? You can't pay for invitation letter, invitation letter should be given to you when you pay for the training if its genuine

He got the invitation for us
I paid for it
He buys stuff from the company and has visited the company severally
He once used the invitation letter to get visa for one of the recent denied applicant last year (he applied alone though)

Good day, I have a question. I intend to visit France for 2 weeks as I do not have any traveling experience since all the while, I have my private business where all the document are valid and I have been paying kind of bonuses from my company account to my personal account. What is the best or purpose that is best that will give me high chance of getting visa granted, what your advice on this. Purpose of traveling? I applied in 2015 but was denied Because I couldn’t justify the purpose for traveling. How can I package my application on my PURPOSE
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by erwinschro: 1:03am On Oct 10, 2021
I saw this on stackexchange and thought it could be useful to this discussion about justification of purpose of travelling

When you see "Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided" on a Schengen refusal, it usually means that they decided that the application was either 'incoherent', or not credible, or both.

Incoherence
Coherence has a special meaning in the Schengen vocabulary; it means clear, sensible, consistent, and most importantly, understandable. An 'incoherent' application lacks these qualities. Coherent applications will generally succeed; incoherent applications will not. Some examples of incoherence are given in the handbook...

- an applicant claims to travel to an industrial area, staying in a cheap hotel, for the purpose of tourism;
- an applicant claims to visit a professional event at dates that do not correspond to the actual dates of the event;
- an applicant claims that the purpose of the trip is to visit a friend, but it turns out that the person concerned is absent during that period;
- a trader in jewellery claims to have been invited to attend a medical conference.
While these examples may not correspond to your situation, they have a common thread where the application was not consistent with the applicant's job, status, or apparent life-style.

Premise
Incoherence also includes applications that did not successfully establish a premise for the visit. Commonly, there is no apparent connection between the applicant's itinerary and his career, apparent life-style, or financial capacity. Some examples of this are...

- an applicant expresses interest in an event or geographic area for which there are no signs of previous interest;
- an applicant presents a letter of invitation from a sponsor whose relationship with the applicant is unclear or distant;
- an applicant is continually sponsored by the same person where there is no apparent justification for visiting that person;
- an applicant cannot establish why a visit is contemplated at this particular time.

Credibility
An applicant's credibility can also result in a refusal reason of "Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided".

Some examples of credibility problems are...

- The applicant has an existing support network of friends or family that would easily enable them to break the rules;
- A disproportionate amount of income is being spent for the visit;
- The applicant has changed stories over the course of several interactions with Schengen officials and their credibility has been damaged;
- The decision-maker cannot determine if the funds really belong to the applicant;
- The decision-maker cannot determine if the funds were obtained legally;
- The applicant has a history of prior refusals and there is no visible change in circumstances;
- The applicant's submission contains gaps or evidential shortfalls that cannot be explained;
- The applicant is going to a location where previous visa holders have entered breach;
- The sponsor has a dubious status, or has sponsored people who have entered breach;
- The sponsor attempts to attest to things that are beyond his control (like guaranteeing that the person will not overstay).

Hey well done on your contributions here. You re doing so well. Thank you.

I'm planning a birthday getaway with some friends for next month.

Majority are first timers. But comfortably working, earning good monies, single and will surely come back.

How do you think is the best way to arrange our application pls.

An agent said we should each register a program according to our field of work and use it as a reason.

But me on the other hand is asking why can't we just apply normal as a group knowing no one in Europe just on a trip.

I'm confused.

By the way, Spain or France which should we do. Any is OK for us.

If you are fully vaccinated, I would advice you should just apply as a tourist, simple as that, no need to complicate your application. If you have all your required documents, just write a very convincing cover letter stating your reason including as a way of celebrating your birthday and enjoying the tourist attractions n French culture... make sure you get a Letter headed letter of introduction for your work place, leave letter that should say when you are on and off work, as in when you are expected to be back at work. Just show them you work. And ties you have here in nigeria.
If you follow this platform, you can package this very well on your own, I know it helped me n I was successful with mine.

For options, for someone who has been to spain, Spain is a beautiful place , this is my first time going to France but I hear its amazing, but if you have enough finance, u can do both, as schengen visa can take you to both places as along as you arrive at your primary place of application first.
Happy birthday in advance
