Alright, let me play the devil's advocate. cool

Guys complain a lot because boys and girls become incredibly attractive at different stages. When me sef de under 20, I was wailing and gnashing my teeth because of women no de. In fact I was a feminist, but still, I was invincible. meanwhile, girls, I was older than was living the best time of their life. And as a man, puberty kicks in, its an age where you begin having wet dreams, your voice thicker, and hormones raging, with boner just by looking at musical videos. But for the girls? at that age, its like being a celebrity. My younger cousin that is 21 eh, shows me her inbox, and its thousands of un-replied messages from numerous men, young and old hitting on her. She just has to ask like 10 money and at least 2 will respond positively.

So just like slave masters do not understand the pain of their slaves, women generally do not know what it means to be a man at that age. Especially that men have higher testosterone that worsens everything. So when men come online to complain, they are actually not in a good place. It is a place of pain. I will relate it to the pain women feel when they reach the age where they start to become invincible to men, especially if they are fat. So for men, our pain starts earlier and ends later, for women, it is the opposite. So understand where these dudes and coming from, and dismissing and considering them bitter only makes it worse.

I would have answered you but you have chosen a side. That makes your inquiry redundant.

Date a Nigerian girl in your age bracket and you will soon find out .

Good day N'landers,
Please I want to know why nairaland men/boys like to nag and complain about women/girls. I'm not trying to criticize or discriminate anyone's views, but this is something I've observed in the short time I've spent here.
I am still a young lad(in my late teenage), and the posts I see here on nairaland has really polluted my mind about relationships with females(i have never really been in a relationship). Nairaland guys make females look toxic and I'm willing to know why's this so.

Please I need answers and I don't mind if you share your experiences on relationships you've had with "Nigerian girls"(lol) and why you think they are "toxic".
Pucccccy sir...thats our problem. No puccccccy!! angry

Hmmm. So you respect women because they are women, but women respect you because you respect yourself. Interesting.

chatinent:
Yes, because I respect myself.

I am concerned about talking about the realities...not necessarily Nairaland. I respect myself, and I am thought to respect both men and women.

It isn't about the gender. I respect myself and it makes me respect everyone.

If only life were that simple. Haven't you heard of toxic men meeting non toxic women and vice versa?

bepositive11:
Toxic people attract other toxic people. Toxic men attract toxic women and vice versa. Non toxic men attract non toxic women and vice versa. Focus on being a non toxic man so that you can attract non toxic women.

yeah
But most nairaland men do
Someone has already told you it's the views of bored kids who happen to have access to phones. Mature men don't have so much time for useless things.

Form your own experience m. Live your own live. Don’t let other peoples experience limit your relationship with the opposite sex.

You might be the type that’s lucky in finding love or decent women.

You don't need any answers. Experience will tell you all you need to know.

When non toxic men/women meet toxic women/men, they recognize the toxicity and walk away

If you claim that the man/woman is non toxic but didn't walk away, look closer. You'll see the toxicity

And some people think that selfless people are the kindest, that they are good people. It's not true. They end up enabling bad behaviour claiming to be understanding. They are toxic themselves because they have no boundaries. They tolerate emotional, psychological, and/or physical abuse as if they have no choice

It's important to balance being selfish and selfless

Non toxic people don't tolerate nonsense from anyone, talkless of toxic relationships
