TMKsouth:If the matter is checked properly you would find that the Taxi drivers must have been the cause and the people who retaliated are terrorists by nature. That retailer raised an issue of their rights been given to the taxi drivers, so there is a bone of contention that has not been sorted out, and instead of the police to investigate the causes of the violence, those responsible for burning vehicles/shops and those that are responsible for bearing arms and ammunition on both sides He is just saying they have broken the law, who and who broke the law? It must be looked at from both angles, the taxi drivers and shop owners There must have been issues of intimidation and the police don't care or they are in support. |

Oizatobad: See him kikor kikor eyes like the gods must be crazy people. You failed in your woeful attempt at disguising. Tramp. For your info, Somalians aren't like your average Nigerians who care so much about life and what they have accumulated. Somalians have got nothing to lose and they won't shy from levelling you and your country the way they did theirs violently.

Those taxi drivers always act like they have a monopoly of violence n the average taxi driver has an illegal gun.... They always aggressive and power drunk... I think this is a good act on the part of the Somalis who have always been at the receiving end of violence n looting..shebi dem see ak47 now... the taxi drivers ran.. Now SAns are calling for removal of somalians... haaa haaa haa Karma is a bitch 1 Like |

TMKsouth:If they cant get it right checkmating illegal guns that south Africans have access to. Can they checkmate the one these somalians have ? To be honest... the violence perpetrated on these lots by south Africans is enough reason for them to have guns smuggled in for their protection... cos u and I both know these guys are not protected..its the other way round.. Let me ask...where are all the perpetrators of the last looting I can categorically tell u...99% of them have been released..all they have now is the criminal records that's if it was indeed recorded.. Now let's picture this scenery I just had in my head now.... Let's say another uprising against foreigners happens n it happens in kempton park.. I can tell u my brothers will come out armed n face the other party as long as they are harmed... This is just the real deal When I was working security I had access to a gun.. my Congolese colleagues would even steal the company's gun n get fired...all they needed to is claim they were attacked... And we both know how cheap getting a gun is |

ghettochild: SA security forces can be very efficient if they want to, which is one of the criticisms put up against them by South Africans. So disarming Somali businessmen and others can be done overnight if they so wished, but very often there's no political will to deal with crimes by foreign nationals. It's also been argued our own authorities are benefiting from the underworld and chaos in SA. Which leads me to the lack of major arrests following the July unrest. The main perpetrators were ANC bigwigs in Zuma's faction but so far only DJs and social media influencers have been charged - pathetic. I agree Somalis have to defend their businesses but the taxi industry also has organised criminal syndicates and I wouldn't be surprised if re-enforcements are sent in from Gauteng and KZN in retaliate. I think u can see how this would spiral out of control. So my point is that everyone needs to be disarmed, but as it is the government is failing to deal with taxi violence across the country. 1 Like |

Gee64:what is more worse are your brothers in Nigeria who think that every incident like this is about Islam, because we have got some fools on this platform calling out muslims as if this has anything to do with Islam. This is no different from xenophobic attack on NIGERIA over 2 years ago. Why was that not "Christian terrorists attack on Nigerians". We have lots of foolish people in Nigeria that think from their anus |
