one even called me yesterday, claiming she was from my bank. then I asked her which of my banks, she reply "would zenith bank call you if u bank with eco bank?" then I knew she was a 419...... she even spoke in dialect thinking she was speaking mine.

This is an old one-chance format they were using back then in port Harcourt naw.
They will either tell you someone "It's like someone forgot something in the booth and it might be bag of money" or they will tell you "they forgot their bag of money somewhere that if you help them,say money no be problem,Dem go bless you Wella but before you go know,you go begin count pole for road.
Imagine,one told me he was expecting someone at where he was standing but for some time there now he hasn't seen the person and his own phone battery was dead.At first I wanted to leave him the guy and move ohh but there was something like powder on his face that was shinning when I looked at him which made me want to help him.Na so I give the guy my phone to make call ohh na from there we enter talk,from there I totally forgot it was my phone I was just about with this stranger.Iñfact,I wasn't myself again before I know I don dey count nepa poles dey go for road.
Before I realized myself the guy don collect my phone and wallet join.
Ridiculous as it seems it happened to me.
Just be careful ooo "Na Guy man like me, nothing go happen make I just help this guy make call, nothing fit happen.naim I take go begin count pole oh.
No go loose guard.
