Any politician who is not in the government is ever ready to cast aspersions in the unity of Nigeria.

Nigeria has never been united.

Nobody is holding anyone back. Those threatening to leave are just making noise and beating chest. They know the right steps to take, they should take it if they can.

You seem to be one of those misguided Nigerians who think that Nigeria's so called unity is non negotiable. If the right steps are not taken, the country will disintegrate.

Negotiable or non-negotiable to those chopping oil money. Methinks it should be the latter

Nobody is afraid of IGBO LEAVING NIGERIA. The fact is that igbos are not serious to leave. If you truly want you know the right step to take.

First begin to move all the igbo all over Nigeria to igboland. All your business should be relocate to your land of rising sun.

You can't say Nigeria land is evil and yet you still want to remain in evil land .

Once you're ready , actualization of BIAFRA is very easy

Too many ignorant people in this country.

I'm happy with this path GMB is leading us through.

Is just a matter of time, some LG chairman will start revolting.

I'm eager for the day The Judiciary will start receiving their own funds directly too.

Though the changes won't be really felt now, but on the long run, people will always remember and thank GMB for this act.
It's all about supporting the right people to power, not thieves and barbarians. Idiots will be shouting Buhari, but they are the ones killing themselves via criminal governors and local government chairman. Ignorance na disease.

Un*ty beggar..

Which country in the world forces people to remain with them?

Even Spain, UK and others grant autonomy to their regions who want out.

Why cling on unitary system that ONLY benefits your tribe?

Now VAT, rotation presidency, resource control, and state police is gradually resetting configurations.

Wrong. Power belongs to the people, not politicians. You want them to go through politicians who benefit from the skewed structure. No it’s wrong. If you feel breaking away is not a popular call by Igbos and I dare say many Southerners, Nigerian government should yield calls for referendum. That will naturally kill further calls cause if a majority agree to stay, then there’ll be no use to keep calling for it.
So how does it work? Buhari will just wake up one morning and declare referendum?

Jokers, Empty Barrels, they have nowhere to go, Nigeria is all they have, those who are lucky to be dual citizens like Mazi Kanu, Simon Ekpa, Sunday Igboho have already fled ages ago.

Read well, most of you already have biased mind, it blocks your sense of reasoning, objectivity and clarity. South asking for 50% is part of negotiating better terms, state police formation is part of the negotiation, state keeping VAT is part of the negotiation. Read well, we are locked in together in this territorial space, the best we can do is negotiate how we live together in true federalism, where every state is responsible for itself and feeds off what it generates, this I think, is what he means, not break up or secession. Read with an open mind, except you lack comprehension, like most here.

His last line clearly said it all, read to comprehend.

You are correct to some extent, in the interpretation of what Kingibe said.
But break up or secession is included in what he is talking about. That is why he used marriage/divorce analogy.
No country is immune to break up or secession. Nigeria can break up and heavens will not fall. In fact if the country is not restructured, I see Nigeria breaking up in the next 5 years.

Who is the Governor of your state, is he an Hausa man? In every society there are always the ignorant disgruntled citizens, it is not unusual to find your likes in society, that is why there is always an opposition in government.

There is not disgruntled elements as would be huge to want to leave the union.

The systematic failure in the society causes the issues.

The governors had nothing to with it.

The governors can build rails systems, control the police and do thing in the exclusive list.

The central government uses the items in the list to cheat regions, who are not favorable to them.

Can the state governor approve the construction of rail or road to another country?

Stop trying to defend what is happening. Even top leaders from your northern region has agreed that the country has issues, so what are you all about?

You cheating northerners and south westerners never have appetite for the truth...

So because we are born in Nigeria, we should be quiet when we are continuously subjugated and reduced to second class citizens?

When Nigeria was formed, it wasn't designed like it is today, with fake 36 states.

Our parents would have rejected it in the London conference before Nigeria was created.

Who is talking about presidency?

What did GEJ from a minority tribe do for you when he was dashed the presidency?

You are even lost, already.

You are just like a poor mechanic who just throw his hat in the car engine to fix, when he doesnt know the problem with the car.

You will spend 666 years trying to fix the car.
