@Prince4real2017

The said time frame is for Frequent travellers, as a first time applicant necessary checks and verifications need to be made.

prince4real2017:

Please...
Can I use 2 bank account ( I have a savings account which I'm planning to use,but there's no transaction...the other account showing earning and spending and also shows the transfer to my savings).
I'm applying with my wife,group application... do we need different statement of purpose and also will I need to also write a letter as her sponsor?
Just trying not to make a mistake.

Who is sponsoring the trip, if you are the one, write a cover letter in regards to that and state it, and attach your statement

@OsiEnterprise4

Look out for those with pay at property terms on booking.com.

You are required to input card details to confirm booking . Note you wont be debited.

Before booking do check for their Reservation and Cancellation terms.

Ok, thanks, but sometimes, they keep saying, they can't verify my debit card, I used master debit card, i used it to purchase something online frequently. It surprised me when they say that, they can even cancel my reservation because of that, have experience it, what kind of card do they really need?

Greetings to all,
pls sometime last month I filled an application before booking for an appointment with VFS, but there is a change of plan especially on number of days to stay in france and place of stay during my visit.... my question is if I fill a new application correct things will I be allowed to submit it on the early booked date since it was stated that you have to fill your application before booking with VFS?
Particulars of the applicant remain the same.

If you don’t have at least one night payment in the account, it will keep declining, i did yesterday until i had some money in the account before my reservation was fully confirmed.

If you cancel the reservation after you’ve gotten your visa, before the said date you put your money will be refunded.

Hello everyone,

So my family and I are applying for a France visa and I am the one sponsoring the trip. My question is since we are applying together, do I have to give my partner my bank statement and still use the same bank statement for my own application or just a single bank statement suffices for the both applications? The reason for the question is that since she's an adult and she's completing a separate application form, I assume she would also need to submit some documents in support of her application of which the bank statement is one of them. How can we both use a single bank statement for the application or do I have to get 2 copies of the same bank statements? Gurus in the house should please advise.

Good morning everyone,
please I would like to ask, someone just told me that Netherlands is now open for tourism but only to fully vaccinated applicants. How true is this?

Secondly I heard that the application is being treated by French Embassy and the submission centre is VFS.

Thirdly, if the above 2 is true, I would like to know if French embassy is still doing the frequent travellers package for the Netherlands tourist visa. Or can a first timer apply for this one?
Please your quick response will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks once again sir/ma. Does it matter if the proof of funds is in my personal or business account as I intend to use both bank statements, however, majority of the funds is in my business account and I only move funds from there into my personal account that I use for my daily expenses. I heard they have preference for personal bank statements as they might be of the opinion that I am using my business funds to fund a family trip. How true is that? I don't want to transfer some funds into my personal account for the purpose of applying for the visa only for the embassy to term such an action as "cash lodgement for the purpose of facilitating a visa" like the UK embassy normally does since I'm thinking of splitting the funds between both accounts. Please, I need your guidance in this aspect so I won't make any costly mistake. Thanks in anticipation.

Leave the various accounts the way it is, as I earlier mention, whatever accounts you are using get one for yourself and your partner, she will also add her own, she will write a cover letter in regards to those statements, the reasons for it.

I assume that you are talking about reservation on booking.com? I went through something similar where all my cards kept declining even my American cards. They even cancelled my reservation after I had submitted at VFS. I'm not exactly sure what happened because I was able to book and pay other properties on the same website with no issues.

The only thing I noticed is that in the case of the hotel that canceled my reservation, they were the ones handling payment not booking.com. I think that the payment system on booking.com is usually more friendly to international cards. So my advice is if you want to make a reservation for your visa using booking.com, check and make sure that it says "payment handled by booking.com" as opposed to payment handled by the property, and it is usually listed on each hotels page how the payment is handled
