it was a mistake from the pilots. The solider was pursuing flee iswap member when air support was call the pilot could not different from iswap and army . It destroy the iswap vehicle killing all the occupant and and fire cannon on the other vehicles killing two and injuring the others . But that did not stop the moral of our men they pursue recovered and did total destruction

Chabbal is right inside Maiduguri. It’s quite Saddening that ISWAP is now pushing its attention on Maiduguri. Chabbal isn’t up to 2km behind the Airport.

The COAS needs to do something sincerely. This Defense Mechanism will go haywire soon. Imagine having the effrontery to still attack Maiduguri.

Well I swear to God I’m not happy the way we are doing a stalemate with continuous CONGRATULATIONS for an enemy bringing the war to our doorstep.

How can ISWAP attack Artillery and Chabbal in one week right inside Maiduguri Metropolitan City. This spells doom written over it. No be to carry MRAPs and APC full airport be the Koko.

I think Nigerian government should start interacting with businesses and highlighting skill/industry shortage lists so other private businesses can fill the vacuum.

This is why I was grumbling the other day, about us not been able to killing 500 within 2 days, there's a way you will beat your enemy they won't even want to see you.... it happened in Iraq, it happened in Afghanistan, they would loose the resolve to want to make contact.
I belong to the school of thought of beating you adversary till they almost dead, if they recover fully, they would fight other people not you, then you can begin non-kinetic approach, but they need to fear you.....2 or 3 times they need to attack, and less than 30 would return, then you will see miracles working in our favour.

The A29s must be causing serious havoc,imagine 2-4 of them sitting over a battlefield for hours,or the hours long interdiction they can operate.Overlaping tucanos will be a very painful sight for the enemy.The only way ISWAP will survive the onslaught is obviously to attack the airport. As has been said all 12 were deployed from Kainji to the north-east, obviously Maiduguri. That airport must be well protected.The closer the tucanos are to the insurgents the longer the times span of CAS they give our troops.

I am super excited about our current air Force offensive capabilities, the effect of these platforms on the planned offensive.
