Most people will doubt including myself.
I heard the same thing but I debunked it because I recently applied and renew my visa in July despite showing inactive on CAC website.
Later someone mentioned on this same forum that because am not a first time applicant.

I believe there is more to it that is why I advice people to always prove their case beyond reasonable doubt. For my application I prefer giving more than enough documents than giving insufficient documents and it also depend on the ECO handling your case file.

Kindly furnish this forum with the refusal letter so we can have an insight and help other prospective applicants.

Make your findings before commenting. I can send you 5 (Five)refusals because if inactive status on CAC website. You guys can’t just assume one is lying. This is a faceless forum! Why the hell should one lie?

I have a sister who just received her visa but her company is showing inactive on the CAC website. I don't think that person is saying the truth about the refusal he got.

You are right hazy4love many company on CAC are showing INACTIVE, to justify if the reason why they refused his brother visa we asked him to upload the refusal letter and let us see

Oh okay thanks so so much . I really appreciate this. I will send a mail to them right now

Filling for annual return does not mean automatic changing from INACTIVE TO ACTIVE, you will email them the evidence of the payment and confirmation of filling annual return and requesting to change the status to ACTIVE

CAC na another thing this time around

Email the CAC head office Abuja ( spu@cac.gov.ng ) but it's took forever before they will response only if you know any accredited cac agent they can help you fast track it.

Lol, na competition or high school debate? But honestly, this is scary and if anyone is refused solely on that ground, then I think we should take the issue very seriously. However, those who have been rejected on account of their company or employer’s company showing “INACTIVE” on CAC’s website should be kind enough to post the refusal letters here for others to take a cue from. It’s not just enough to make such claims here without proving the same, if only to clear the doubts of all Thomases here, myself inclusive.

Hi guys please I did my biometrics on the 20th October and I have not received any mail at all and I can’t track the application either. I paid for priority student visa.
Please any help. Or am I just paranoid? Classes have started and my trip should be next week.

This one is self employed. I don’t have the time to read back, I would have you shown you guys an employee that was denied because of inactive status of its employer’s company

@justwise please once someone on visit visa has done his vaccinations does the person needs to do COVID 19 test before flying from Nigeria to UK?

Also how is the person going to book for COVID 19 test kit if the person is going to be quarantine in UK…

Also is it advisable for a tourist to do 10 days or 2 days quarantine in UK and what’s the cost implication of each..

I need Urgent response from the house please.

Hello everyone, when applying from Nigeria is it better to use bank statements printed from the bank or will the one generated from my app suffice? Thanks in advance.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Success2011: 9:33am On Oct 25, 2021
If you’re fully vaccinated. You do not need a pre-departure COVID test. But you’ve to keep your vaccination card intact. You’ll only do a Day 2 test on arrival in the UK.

Hello house!

Does one need to authenticate all results (Waec, neco, transcript, degree certificate) before applying to the UK embassy for a students visa?
And is there any extra information that Nigerians who bagged degrees on Benin republic have to know?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Lincolnint: 12:23pm On Oct 25, 2021
On the CAC status, 90 percent of companies status on the CAC search are inactive especially those registered 2019 and below, it takes cac time to change it from inactive to active, you can't even get their customer care number s to complain or make enquires about it.

I am telling you with all certainty and conviction that an employee was denied a tourist visa because the company the person is working was showing inactive on the CAC website. That person posted the said refusal letter here. Can’t seem to remember when again, but if you’ve the time to read back, you’ll come back to buy me a drink! Lol

Please opt for that option if you can as they are currently experiencing a very high volume of applications at this time. Since you have another appointment elsewhere, kindly use that lifeline so you won’t lose on both ends.

Hello Gurus in the house, please as per this CAC issue, i'm about to apply again for 5 days visit to UK to enable me write my NCLEX-RN Exam, Thank God fully vaccinated Nigerians don't need to quarantine anymore. I was denied base on unverifiable money that was send to my savings account and my husband didn't write any cover letter. Please my husband company is an enterprise company " A-z Integrated Services Nig." and its inactive in the CAC website. Please I need advice whether I should use it?. Thank you.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by MadameW: 1:35pm On Oct 25, 2021
Dear Gurus, I’m currently filling out my application. For the question that says: ‘how much do you intend to spend personally “ Should I include the part my husband is contributing or just the amount coming from my pocket?
For instance can I answer that question with £750, then £1000 for the part that asks if someone else is contributing towards my trip?

Thanks in advance

Kindly read the letter you posted, on what ground was the person previously denied based on the reason on the letter. Don't just bring up cases without proper evidence.
