You’ll need to send them an email. They’ll respond and process the refund. I think it should be about £3 or so. Kelebabaj: |

Good morning sirs and mas, please do advise and if possible share an experience if you have one. My husband has his surname changed due to a change in his compound family name but we’ve been trying so hard to get it changed on his international passport and it’s taking forever. Nigeria and wahala. He and my daughter are my dependants as we would be going together. Please can he go ahead and use the passport to apply for the dependant visa? He has all other Identity in his new surname already, also he has a sworn affidavit stamped by the high court of Nigeria to this effect. What do you advise we do please? Please don’t ignore. |

Juwon01:he will not be known by a name not on his international passpt. As long as his intl passprt is valid, the name on there is what will be used for his visa etc until he effects the change on it 1 Like |

Good morning Board, I've got a question. I am not familiar with the new application process as the last time I applied for a UK visa was about 4 years ago. Anyway, I completed my biometrics on Tuesday and as at today, my application is still in DMC according to tracking. Does it take this long to be tranferred to VAC? |

Fazfunms:okay I’ll do that, can I make the payment with a naira card? Or does it also have to be with a dollar card? |

Bobore12:You can reapply since she now has funds. You will be asked about previous refusals. Include her original birth certificate in the application. WAEC is only required for student visa not visit visa. Good luck. |

Good day House, my brother application just got refused. The reason for the refusal is that his company is INACTIVE on CAC. My question is how soon can he reapply? and what are the supporting documents to back up the application? Thanks in advance. I also hope we learn from this. Always make sure your company is ACTIVE on CAC. |

Your naira card should work fine as long as you have not exceeded $100 Kelebabaj: |

Good afternoon all. My brother booked a KLM flight ticket to London for my sister , she just called me to inform me about it. I told her she will need a transit Visa. I will appreciate if someone can guide me on how to go about getting her a transit Visa. Thank you |

blacqueen: Please blacqueen is your brother the owner of the company I mean is your brother apply as a self employed? Or is working under the company he uses to apply? Please share the refused letter to let the house take a look at it |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Chiall: 3:12pm On Oct 22, 2021 |
labiola: Go to the FRANCE visa application page and fill the form. Choose the Netherlands as your destination and select Airtel Transit visa. After submitting your application you have to book appointment on the VFS website for biometrics . On the day of biometrics, she has to go with her ATM card. Fee is about #. 39200. Biometrics is almost 20k. You pay for the biometrics on the VFS website. Documents she has to go with: International passport Copy of UK visa Copy of her flight ticket Passport photo France visa application form Biometrics Appointment letter. I hope her departure date isn't too close? |

Greetings. I booked an appointment for next week for a Dependent Visa on Monday and an email was sent. Today, I logged in and paid £220 for Priority. I was hoping for an email but I didn’t get any. What proof do I have to show that I paid for Priority? Please someone should kindly respond. |

Today marks 15 WD since I submitted my biometrics. I paid for standard processing because priority was not available in my country of application at the time. I tracked my application and it reads that it is still at the DMC. Has anyone who applied in September (Non-priority) received their passport back? My intended travel date is 30th of October and I am a bit worried. Kenyangirl1: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by coopfortune(m): 4:48pm On Oct 22, 2021 |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by barleeh: 5:15pm On Oct 22, 2021 |
mustyy:I’m in the same shoes, I did biometrics on September 8, if I had known it would take dis long, I would have paid for priority, Now I need my passport to attend an appointment next month, if not , I would loose a lot. I hope I get my passport back before then. I have sent another paid email to them anyway |

Good evening to all the Gurus in the house. I applied for UK visa in 2006 and was denied due to fake bank statement used by an agent. No ban or sanction then only the denial due to the statement. I will be applying next month doing everything on my own (documentation), I hope the 2006 denial won't count against me. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by ndidibabe(f): 6:41pm On Oct 22, 2021 |
demmysoft:I think you got denied entry through study route cus of the fund in your account and not necessarily those questions you answered wrongly.. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Nobody: 6:42pm On Oct 22, 2021 |
DJ28:Good evening. Did you see the refusal with your own eyes or the agent simply informed you?.There is a section that asks if you have ever been refused a visa in the application process. If you write the wrong information and a search is done then it would definitely affect your new application.Frankly i would give you a ban for fake statement. 2006 to now is 15years so even if it was a ban you would have served it but be sure where you stand. Guys on here try to avoid agents and/or lawyers that cannot be verified. You only need them when your application isn’t straightforward or you do not understand the process even after research. |

Sam23muell: Please Sir,be careful least your IP address gets you into trouble.Home office regularly sweep forums such as this to sniff new methods which people use to beat the system. You provide proof of funds innit?.,then they get their CAS and come here without having the actual money to pay the bulk of their fees by the third month access to Library and online portal is cut off and by sixth month they are reported by the school and moved to Dover in Vans for deportation or disappear and become illegal. Nigerians let’s do things properly. 2 Likes |

Tutu82: Thanks for your urgent response. I saw the refusal letter, no ban/sanction on it. What should be the answer on the section of the application process "if you have ever been refused a visa"? I am applying with a new passport with the same information and hopefully to apply with my spouse and two children. Please note: No biometric/fingerprint then. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Nobody: 8:36pm On Oct 22, 2021 |
DJ28: Since you did not do biometrics you are not in the system. They can still do a random soft search on you but there are quite a few people with the same name and born on the same day. It’s always best to tell the truth so the answer to that question is yes you have been refused a visa. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by owenjegede: 8:53pm On Oct 22, 2021 |
I did for my family since 31st of August. Called today and was told a decision has been made. We are expecting their response. Have you escalated before ? If yes. What date where you given ? If no. Try to call them tonight or wait till Monday. Bougie: 1 Like |
