Lekkiboboe is in the best position to advice on your admission. But what i know is this, age is not an issue likewise is the size of the family. Have 100children sef, its how you convince the VOs that matters.

But about the course you want to study, i don't know much about it. Why that particular school NBCC?

Hello Yur

You said you have been working as a nurse and at the same time you have Jobs in sales and teaching, this is kind of confusing..

Please what do you do at the moment, that will determine the course you will apply for to get your PGD..

And if your Intl Relation degree is less than 5 years, then you can apply for a PGD in Intl, Relations..

Peace

Peace
YurFav:

Your age is not an issue at al, thats for sure, likewise ur family size.

Y dont u go for a P.G cert course related to ur banking role, since u have 13yrs work experience, so u could show progression.

Ur ability to b convincing in ur sop is key though. Just my 10cents , pls do await contributions from d gurus.

Cheers

Okay if you are not married yet, your only concern will be your own fees, accommodation and upkeep throughout the period of stay and a strong proof of home tie.

I will like to go for MSc. I checked University of Waterloo for my program, Civil Engineering; the tuition fees is about $8000 and estimated cost of living is $7000. How much do you think will suffice as proof of funds for the Visa application?

Hello Mr Canada

You can go ahead with your application, so far you meet the requirement of the school as regards that course, your admission will be given you..

And as per your Visa application, you will have to convince the Visa officer on what you have been doing in your 18 years Gap(You need serious work here).. Your age isn't a problem, as we have seen 44 year old here getting Visa, so far you are able to convince the Visa Officer that you are a genuine student, your Visa will be granted..

Peace

Please i need some advice on some issues with respect to my Study Visa application.

I have received admission from a college and paid about 15kcad which is one year tuition for my 2 year post graduate certificate course. My course of study is data analytics for business. My husband and i run family business, myself, hubby and 1st son are directors but my position in the company is General Manager sales and business development. My purpose for the choice of course of study is to obtain IT experience which will help in data analysis to improve profitability for our company but the issue is that the funds in the account isnt enough for me to use the business as my sponsor.

I''m about selling the piece of land which i purchased with my sister to enable me raise money for the study and living expenses. I believe i can explain the inflow of about N25m( will be transferring 12.5m to my sister once the land is sold) when it hits my account because i have all the land documents.( will be transferring 12.5m to my sister once the land is sold). But im wondering if the visa officer wont be concerned about why our company isnt sponsoring my study since the purpose is the improve on the business.

In addition my brother in the USA has promised to give me a letter of financial support and other required docs to prove he will support my study.

Pls can Frank, Makano or any other person give me their comments. Pls i dont want to make a mistake. Im new on this forum. My school starts May 2022. pls pls i need a response. i wrote a mail earlier but no one replied.

Hello Gurus, thanks for the good work. Please I will like to ask a question based on proof of funds. If I transfer a lump sum( different from my monthly salary) from my business account to my saving account (salary account). Do I need to explain further to the VO via my LOE.
Secondly is there a list of colleges in Canada for English language test exemption for Nigerians. Thanks

Finally, the Stamped passport is here and is so beautiful to behold. See ketima see Canada. if I was ever told I would be in Maple land next year, would never have imagined that, but here I'm about to head to my dreamland.

summary of my journey. grin grin grin.

I started this journey in January 2020. Then I never knew of this beautiful home, Nairaland. I started searching for a school and researching for the Fall 2021 intake. Writing to potential supervisors sotey i got tired of writing. But in the end, one supervisor accepted ( but no funding was attached). I applied to the following school:

My School application details.

University of Manitoba: Got rejected
University of Northern British Columbia: Got Rejected
Simon Fraser University: Rejected
Cape Breton University: Admitted but not what I wanted as I wanted Masters
University of Saskatchewan: last-minute admission ( when I thought all hope was lost). It was a relief as it was my first choice, but I had to increase the number of schools applied to increase my chances.

So my newbies, please I know is money, but please do not limit your chances to just 1 school, even if you have a sweet CGPA. Even my 4.34 CGPA couldn't compete with the best CGPA's that applied.

With the late admission letter, I headed to submit my application. Mind you, I was already about to submit an application with Cape Breton University baccalaureate with all done until the last-minute master's admission. Fiam everything changed. have to start writing a new SOP, and all other documents again.

Had to use just 2weeks to do all, by then I have known niaraland and the family came to my rescue.

I ended submitting my application in late May (May 29). Then the wait began. After exactly 4months and 13 days, the dream letter landed and it was a wonderful day.

Now the journey has come to fruition and is time to return to my work in peace as I wait for the Jappa movement.

Want to use this medium to thank us all and to encourage newbies to keep pushing. All you need for your application is here, with gurus who can guide you accordingly.

What a journey and it was worth it. So never give up. it will surely end in praises.

For those delayed, never give up.

Haaaaaa, access bank has showed me pepper today ooo. The payment i have submitted since oct 13, nothing was done on it and they started blabbing rubbish today. I even called their customer care, they were just doing like malfunctioned generator. I was so annoyed at their incompetence. I was now asking myself, is this not the same access bank that sorted my first payment in one week.

To cut the long story short, i had to pay directly with my debit card and it costs me extra 80. Imagine my balance for first semester is around 180k and i had to pay 262k now. It is well.

Greetings Elders,
My sister is 1 step forward in her study permit application, as she got a request for her biometrics somedays ago. We hope for a perfected testimony.

On her behalf, I would like to ask, how can she travel with her children after getting her Study permit?
(She didn't include them as dependents in the application because she doesn't want reduced chances.)

Please advise.
