People who earn 6 figures couldn't buy gas.

I was shocked to see myself buying 2kg gas in my large cylinder. Something I usually buy without cutting a sweat.

It will never be well with whoever hoist Insensitive leaders on the masses. If I can feel the pain, I wonder wat common people pass tru.

Mind u, I earn over 200k, but I cant afford gas . Its a shame. One wil struggle to buy food and cant cook it.

Ur salary is paid as if they are doing you a favor. Such untold wickedness. Man inhumanity to fellow man.

And u wil see these so call leaders lavishing Money carelessly. If God/Allah is there, these people will suffer for the pain they cause ordinary citizens.

Except they changed immediately. Most likely, the president is not even aware because they are not feeding the right information
Which one be feeding him with right information? Him no get phone abi na data him no get?

Don't be shocked if tinubu becomes the next president of this landmass called nigeria.
currently common nigerians are at their lowest ebb in terms of their intellectual capacity to make right decisions for themselves, nothing surprises me in this country anymore
Klington:

It's just unfortunate. It was the same costly and careless mistake they made in 2014 that brought in buhari that they want to repeat. Most Nigerians prefer mediocrity over competence and credibility. This is the reason why we're where we are today. I can't even start to imagine tinubu as the president to take over from this disaster. Only God can save this country.

This government is good at inflicting pains on the masses base on what they use most. When people weren't using gas, the price was si cheap but now that many are using it, they've increased the price to inflict pains on the masses.
All these e-complaints will yield nothing. But to bold physical protest now, out police are ready to shoot and arrest. The reason people just have to be silent and bear it.
Maybe we may get out of this soon. Nigerians should vote wisely dem no go hear. Some people collected token to vote this government but we're all in it together now. We go dey alright las las.

Why lamenting now? You don't have a liiving president that can listen to you.

You all voted for change and the change is what you are seeing.the president doesn't know that you exists.

He is only after the lives of cows and cows don't use gas.

Buhari is bad luck and I wonder how he sleeps at night after all this punishments he brought to us,.....
I swear as a student,is no longer funny cos nothing is affordable now except hunger and thirst
A thousand naira note is worthless, ordinary food which should be more accessible to all the citizens is now things for rich...God alot are dying of hunger
Wrote my exams with hunger and thirst cos after paying a huge some of money, had nothing left but to live on God...
Things are getting worst day by day and nobody is talking cos you can still afford it but what if it gets to when you can't afford it....

May God help us cos if we did not complain, nobdoy will believe us
if one don't talk because one is comfortable, it is jus a matter of time, one's life is not safe, because robbery will be the order of the day. I am afraid for the rich than for the poor. Now I know it is not God that is controlling the affairs of the world, what you sow, you reap.

If actually the increase in import charge and VAT as stated in the writeup that is causing the sharp increase in gas price, I don't see any reason why government cannot reduce the time mport charge and VAT. They always derive joy in making things hard for Nigerians.

Absolutely, we all know tinubu will be a colossal disaster worst than buhari if he eventually becomes the next president. And if that happens, just know that we still have more foolish people in Nigeria than reasonable ones. We warned them in 2014 because the looming catastrophe was very imminent but they called us names such bigots etc. They say "he whom the gods want to kill, they first make mad".

This news report is not complete without a response from a representative of the FG...we need to hear what they are doing it what they feel about the gas price! I also believe the local gas vendors are enjoying this madness. However, I wonder when exactly we will truly reach our breaking point because as it is, we are quiet because we can still afford to buy itundecided

God bless you.
I searched through the whole story for a comment on stakeholders remedies, government reactions and possible solutions.
It would have made sense if each paragraph of complaint was replaced with comments from Governors concerning this. Till then, this report is old news to me.

Let me ask, how many of u that are complaining actually have voters card or have registered for voting in 2023?
Guys, elections are not done online, if it were so, Buhari would not ve been rigged in 2019.
The problem with us is that most of us complaining here and there do not vote.
Some use that election day to watch movies, sleep or play around.
If we really want a better candidate, we need to vote him/her in 2023.
The prices of things are really beyond the common can afford.
The cost of living keeps going high everyday.

Honestly, I strongly believe bubu carry heavy badluck because how can we ve the same exact experience, even worse..... In 2 different generation under same man as leader. He must be incredibly daft.

And I still don't get how some idiot still think this is about party politics, religion and ethnicity... Its gone way past that now, Nigeria is being destroyed before our eyes while we play politics of tribe and religion
