leo1234:No I didn't.I have over 15m units of Transcorp and I can't sell all at a time.i have to adapt to trading on it since it has become a range stock.Selling high and buy back low is the only option for me in Transcorp till Uncle T decide to take us to 7.45.I am with you my brethren. It will be okay if you can implore same method to increase your stakes. |

Even in a sideways market people still make money depending on your strategy and understanding of when to enter and pull out. Don't ever trade with an investors mentality. Likewise don't ever invest with a traders mentality! |

Abeg house , I am confuse ooo , did FBHN declare any dividends ? I wake up to Alerts I don’t understand ooo |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmasoft(m): 11:21am On Nov 03, 2021 |
Josh121:The dividend you received should be unclaimed dividends you have with them before now as far as it's not older than 12 years. They just updated your account. It's not only FBNH , they also did it for other companies they are managing. The process for investors receiving their dividends automatically after share purchase is in the making. |

Curry30:This time around I have been winning. I was trapped for several months too in this 2021. I prefer a zig zag market to win more than a static market . |

The slaughtering this week no be here! And man don broke, no money to buy more |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Capitas7: 3:37pm On Nov 03, 2021 |
Ades1:No be small at all! Do we expect more dips in Dangote sugar? I bought very few units yesterday, with the small change I had left. I would not mind borrowing from family funds to buy more at any opportunity, but identifying that opportunity (low of lows) is the main issue here. Make person no go catch falling knife. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Ades1: 4:32pm On Nov 03, 2021 |
Capitas7:Bro, don't borrow money to invest oh! I invest money I can survive without for the future cashflow. I sleep well at night knowing the likes of GT, Zenith, MTN, Dangote, Stanbic, UCAP, UBA etc all combine to pay me N50,000 every month regardless of what the market does. The ultimate goal is to eventually get that monthly payment to N300k in a few years |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Capitas7: 4:55pm On Nov 03, 2021*. Modified: 5:22pm On Nov 03, 2021 |
Ades1:Thank you for the word bro. Actually, I use the word "borrow" because I have found it helpful when investing. Here is what I mean: the UBA I bought today for instance, was from funds withdrawn from my money market fund investment. On my mind, I have borrowed from one vehicle to invest in another, and so I must work hard to fill the gap I have created (the quaterly returns from this MMF was intended for my mother's upkeep - God is good, she turns 67 tomorrow). Same way, if I borrow from the funds my family has set aside for opportunities/emergency to invest, I will pressure myself to refund the money quickly. It is more like borrowing myself and paying myself back. If person no dey apply all these kind approaches, na so so emergency and begging go dey take every dime that one earns. I like your strategy by the way! |

I'm a beginner here. Been following for a while. Is it more profitable to trade US stocks or Nigerian stocks? Please what is the disadvantage and advantage? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 6:45pm On Nov 03, 2021 |
siofra:There is a thread for US stock Is Toyota better than BMW? You should decide that for yourself |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by siofra(f): 6:49pm On Nov 03, 2021 |
emmanuelewumi:Yes but that thread looks like it's dying. And I don't know much about cars either, is Toyota Nigerian stock because I'm guessing it is. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Capitas7: 6:50pm On Nov 03, 2021 |
emmanuelewumi:This is enlightening! The wealth of wisdom/knowledge on this platform is ever a blessing. Just to clarify though, I am borrowing myself money, and I am not yet a millions millions person like some ogas here (no need for bank loans for my kind of tashere units). Steady/exponential growth in the now, then easy motion tourist life in the later. |
