My advice to you is that you should not even think of leaving the Catholic Church...that will be the biggest mistake of your life. Don't listen to that girl and don't let a woman drag you down the drain. If she's not willing to follow your lane, then leave her.

Love can come from anywhere, it never ends. The world doesn't revolve around her. You can still find a woman who will be submissive to you and flow with you.

I was not having a church i would say its a permanent one where i am rooted. Though i was going to one at that time. But i would not say i am rooted there simply because am not a church church type in as much as am a christian and love God.

Now, after i joined my wife to her own church i never had any regret. Infact its a good place to worship though i am still me. (After church first to leave type).

So Bro. I do understand what others are trying to say about her being control freak and all that.

But at the end it all comes down to you. You know these lady in question.

Have you ever visited her church atleast 1 or 2 times to have a feel and conviction for yourself? You might find out its a good place to worship after all.

Would you afford losing a good lady over name of church?

I'm not trying to invalidate her desire to have a family that has the same denomination, but if you're not willing to make that move (which you are not obliged to) she has to decide if it's a deal breaker and move on if so. Our happiness as individuals is very important and it's fine if marrying a catholic is what will make her happy. But you shouldn't sacrifice your own happiness too. Y'all should approach the subject logically without sentiment and should be ready to love each other enough to end the relationship if any compromise at the stage would lead to issues later. It's good you're even being honest with each other. Some men would simply agree to her demands just to take her to the alter and then remind her who's the head of the family afterwards.

These are the kind of subjects we should be discussing during the dating phase when things aren't serious yet. That's basically why we date.

She is not ready to marry u dear bro. There is no catholic or Pentecostal church in heaven. Church is define as a mystical body of Christ. Beside, the bible said, a woman shall one day leave her parents house to settle with a man which together they will form a family. If she is ready to marry, she can marry u as a herbalists, and if she really want u, she will be willing to leave her comfort zone to settle with u. Above all , how can a woman start making it a must for husband to obey her when she have not even enter into the marriage?. (Thought! it's her choice)

They may be right or wrong because they dont know the season behind her action.
My questions are:
1. Is she a devoted Christian who want to serve God in truth and in spirit? If yes! She make a good case.
2. Is she saying that you must leave Catholic and follow her to her own church? If yes! She got it wrong and should not be taken serious.
3. Or is she saying you should leave Catholic and join any other good church that must not be hers? If yes! She is a good wife and she loves you. Go ahead and marry her.
