children born in some parts of riverine areas in river/bayelsa and other places are submerged in the water to gods of water and never drown while swimming there and other places.if water gods know these kids and protect them how much more God.
What do you think?
Why do you believe the reason they don't drown is because the water gods protect them? undecided

He makes it abundantly clear that those who love Him are those who obey His teachings and commandments- John 14 vs 15 - 25. He repeated this very message several times throughout His teachings going as far as to tell of how those who obey Him are like houses built on solid ground whereas those who do not obey His commandments are like houses built on sinking sand - Matthew 7 vs 24 - 29 undecided

Jesus Christ never said immersion was the only way to baptism, neither did John the Baptist. In fact, if you go back to where God Himself decreed baptisms as a sign, He Himself spoke of it, in relation to His New Covenant, as a sprinkling of pure water to wash away all forms of idolatry from the lives of His own - Ezekiel 36 vs 25 - 27 and we all know that Jesus Christ is the very Word out of God's own mouth and so He would never go against God's own Truth since He is, after all, God’s own Truth. undecided

So, tell whoever deceived you info believing immersion as the only kind of baptism by water acceptable by God that he or she is nothing but a Liar and a false teacher who nothing of the Truth of God. undecided

According to God in Ezekiel 36 vs 25, in regards to His New Covenant, God said He will sprinkle pure water on His people to cleanse them from their idols. Surely you see that God indeed deems it necessary for those of His who will partake in His offer to them through Jesus Christ. undecided

In John 3 vs 1 - 8, Jesus Christ decree that except a man be born-again- born from water and Spirit- He cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. undecided

The same Jesus Christ came to men preaching preaching same message of repentance that John the Baptist, who came before Him preached , the message of Repentance, and According to John in Matthew 3 vs 7 - 11, water baptism is a mark , a witness, that one has chosen Repentance, a new birth. undecided

Before He leaves the earth, Jesus Christ, though He is never recorded to have baptised anyone Himself, this since baptism is a transition from the Old way to the New way ("washing away of sins" to "forgiveness of sins"wink, He sends His followers out to baptize those who believe in order that they may be saved - Mark 16 vs 16-19 undecided

Surely, you must see that without baptism, there is no eternal life, since without gaining entry into the Kingdom of God also means one remains condemned to die I.e. perish in th grave. undecided
Since Jesus is our example, what kind of Baptism was He Baptized with from the scripture by John?

Jesus Christ said those who are His friends are those who do as He asks - not those who do as He did - John 15 vs 14 undecided

In teaching after teaching, Jesus Christ more than made it clear to His followers that they are to obey His teachings and commandments, not copy Him in all He did, declaring that those who love Him are those who submit to and obey His teachings and commandments- John 8 vs 31 - 44 & John 14 vs 15 - 25 undecided

Jesus Christ went as far a to describe those who obeyed His teachings as houses built atop of a solid rock foundation while those who refused to obey His teachings and commandments He described as houses built on sinking sand - Matthew 7 vs 24 - 29 undecided

In John 14 vs 6 - 12 & John 15 vs 7 - 11, Jesus Christ further explained that it is those who trust and Obey Him that will go on to doing what He did and even more. undecided

Jesus Christ lived in submission to and obedience of God's Old Covenant Law, this as He went around teaching His followers to live according to the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom of God. This explains why it is crucial to doing, not as Jesus Christ did, but as He commands - exactly as He stated. undecided

Bros, digest the whole chapter

Notice Ezekiel 36:24: “For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.” Then, immediately following the verse that mentions the sprinkling of clean water, God said: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh” (Ezekiel 36:26). These two verses present the immediate context from which many modern religious people remove Ezekiel 36:25 in order to justify sprinkling. If we are to believe that Ezekiel was writing about a literal sprinkling of water in this verse, then we would also be forced to understand Ezekiel’s usage of “heart of stone” in verse 26 as being literal

2. The English word “baptism” is transliterated from the Greek word baptisma, which signifies dipping or immersion.

A lot of rubbish in some churches in Nigeria because some people are simply business-concerned.

If you have truly become a child of God and have been properly baptised according to the Bible in any true church, you don't need to do it again. It is once for ever. Any pastor that insists you do it again is either a thief or an ignoramus, forget whoever it is.

I am afraid I am not entirely clear on what your question here is.
24 “I will take you out of those nations, gather you together, and bring you back to your own land.
25 Then I will sprinkle pure water on you and make you pure. I will wash away all your filth, the filth from those nasty idols, and I will make you pure.
26 I will also put a new spirit in you to change your way of thinking. I will take out the heart of stone from your body and give you a tender, human heart.
27 I will put my Spirit inside you[c] and change you so that you will obey my laws. You will carefully obey my commands.
28 Then you will live in the land that I gave to your ancestors. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
29 Also, I will save you and keep you from becoming unclean. I will command the grain to grow. I will not bring a famine against you.
30 I will give you large crops of fruit from your trees and the harvest from your fields so that you will never again feel the shame of being hungry in a foreign country.
31 You will remember the bad things you did. You will remember that those things were not good. Then you will hate yourselves because of your sins and the terrible things you did.” - Ezekiel 36 vs 24 - 31

You should be truthful enough to state the kind of Baptism John the baptist did and if Baptism by sprinkling was done by the Jews at Jesus time. The truth is static irrespective of what our doctrine is!

How about he Ethiopian Eunuch, what kind of Baptism did he undergo?
Can you find an single example in the New Testament in which water baptism was by sprinkling?

I was not talking about Rccg.in my own case it was winners chapel but I'm saying it's not a big deal.
For the scripture.check math 3 :16-17.
The heaven were opened unto jesus.and also a voice.
This infers recognition . heaven is aware.
We all know Jesus was without sin.so those saying it's only for repentance.see it for yourself.

Let me address the issue of rccg you mentioned.every church has their rules and doctrine.if you can't abide .simply leave.
When my brother was doing his wedding, his church gave him so much rules before they can be wedded.he simply went to another church, did the wedding and came back to the church.
Catholics allow pregnant brides to be wedded.others don' I don't support it as scripture says keep the bed undefiled.
And yes there is record of anyone that is baptized..
One can infer from.math 3:16-17.when Jesus was baptized, the heavens opened showing recognition.in his special case a voice and a dove.
Similarly, when you accept Christ as your lord and personal saviour.and confess it with your mouth.
There is also a record of that too in heaven.would you argue this one too?
On the issue of renewal.can you say Jesus was repenting from his sins.if it's not form of renewal.what is it?

Blessed Sunday to you guys, A friend of mine who has Baptiste before in a different church decided to switch to another church entirely, but the pastor of the new church insisted that he must Baptiste again.

My friend is a worker in church (drummer), he stopped going to church because the pastor refused to pray for him and also refused issue him a certificate as a worker in the church because he did not Baptiste in the church....

My question is, after baptism, do you have to Baptiste again because one have to change church?

Baptism as seen in the scriptures was by immersion Acts 8:38. Any other form of baptism is wrong and guarantee' s you a place in eternal destruction if a correction is not made before death.

The importance of baptism is to wash away sins, to receive the gift of the holy spirit and to be added to the body of Christ ( the church Christ bought with his blood). You do not join any church rather you are added to the church Acts 2:41.

Christ is the head of the right church and not man Ephesians 5:23. The name of the church is seen in Romans 16:16. The practices of the church were documented in Acts 2:42, 47, Ephesians 5:19, I Corinthians 16:1-2 and Ephesians 4:12., the leadership structure of the church follows the trend; 1. Christ(Head) 2. Elders/Bishops/Pastors and Evangelists 3. Deacons 4. Members

Christ is coming to the deliver the church to His Father 1 Corinthians 15:24. Not just any church but the church he established with his blood which ofcourse has Christ name as stated above and follow the teachings of Christ.

The bitter truth as seen in the scriptures is, anyone who claims to be a Christian outside the Church Christ bought with his blood will be condemned.

The only Bible passage you quoted to support sprinkling was in the old testament. Was John the Baptist who heralded the coming of our Lord and Saviour in the old testament? So u sprinkle water on a 3 months old baby and call it baptism, are u accepting Jesus Christ on the baby's behalf or its supposed to be a personal decision by someone who is old enough to do so before baptism? Where in the bible was it mentioned that babies were baptized or why was Jesus Himself not Baptist via sprinkling as an infant? Try read your bible and gain knowledge so no Rev. Father or Pastor can deceive you. All the best

Instructions for Christians today are either direct commands from God, Apostolic examples or necessary inferences. In this case, Apostolic example is applicable looking at the Acts of the apostles who walked with Christ and followed the teachings of Christ.

In Acts 8:38, the Ethiopian eunuch and Philip "went down into the water". Philip could have simply stayed at the bank of the the body of water and sprinkle some on the Eunuch to represent baptism. But he didnt, both of them instead "went down into the water"

Acts 8:39 tells us that "they came out of the water " this further tells us that baptism by apostolic example was by immersion. Read also Colossians 2:12.
