Anyway, I had class rep that had 2.2 and now an assistance bank manager in Access. If your papa get long leg, hin fit help you. Otherwise, buy yourself a laptop and start learning some IT stuff ( or yahoo if you so desire). With IT skill your certificate will not matter.

I made 2.2 and many of my peers with 2.1 are still far from from their dream. Is not all about 2.1 or 2.2 just know that our country has changed. And those who refused to adapt to the new ways of doing things would be left behind.

Conventional jobs will certainly not guarantee u happiness.

The struggle to gain admission in this insane country alone is enough to make one Suicidal. Please never withdraw , keep pushing , learn a lot of digital skills (digital skills is >>>>>>>>>>>> than a BSc this days) , build connections. Even if you end up graduating with a pass you will be far better than someone who graduated with a first class

2.2 is not a death sentence, just brace up and tell him, even some third class graduates are even working in some FG agencies.

Truth be told , all of us can’t graduate with good grades . 2.2 isn’t a bad grade . True , your dad might be disappointed but dude it is your life ! You will be responsible for yourself eventually. Man up ! The most important thing is getting yourself valuable for this economy . School is over what next ? What do you want to do with your life ? Let make use of one of my big boss @money121 i’m always inspired by him , my boss didn’t make good grade while in school , after school he decided to venture into the construction industry today even the best graduating student of their set can’t stand beside him . He owns his roofing company today worth millions of Naira . Big up the challenge and make yourself better even your dad that rebuke you for having bad grades would be the number 1 person to shout “that’s my son!!!l” eventually !

I had 2:2 also with a CGPA OF 3.16 and I have been working in the telecoms company ever since I graduated, I have worked with about 5 different companies with my 2:2 and infact I just completed my master degree in the US.
This is to tell you that your 2:2 will take you to so many places in the world if you believe, I will advise you to go for your MSc degree as well if you are still scared of your 2:2, you didn't mention your CGPA because that also matters when search for institution to have your MSc done. Most institutions will request for a CGPA OF 3.0 and above for masters.

Na 2.2 I get! I have everything and last year 2020 was the best year of my life. I mean everything! Like everything and today my parents are everywhere bragging about me and telling every cousin to follow my footsteps.

Let me say this also that I tried to commit suicide twice after I was given that result. Infact I was given a Pass certificate which was a mistake but I tried to talk to the school but you know the norms...They keep telling me to get out of thier office that when other were reading I was busy partying.

But I am happy today!

Sincerely this is not the end of the world. Completing school with either a 2.1. or a 1st class does not equate to success in life. Just so you know, I finished with a 3rd class and I'm a director at an intl company. Pick yourself up, dust yourself and look for ways to improve yourself. There are lots of courses out there to help you evolve into a successful superstar... Just believe in yourself and keep your head up

Just tell him. This is 21st century. University degree don't do much now in Nigeria. My dad has 5 graduates and non of them is using their degrees to make a living. His allowee no dey delay... inshort the man dey retirement... just tell him and live with whatever comes from it.

What you just wrote is subjective.
In most cases, oral exams are given to all to ensure fair ground and most of the 2.2 students always do better than the 2.1 students. I graduated as a 4pointer but there are some of my colleagues who graduated with 2.2 that are so freaking better.

2:2 is not a bad result, it's just that most employer of labour would pick 1st and 2:1 over 2:2 for graduate entry positions.


My advice to you would be to learn anything that can give you money..
