Pls I need help from anyone that has applied for UNN transcript... I paid for the transcript and need the phone no of someone who works there so I can track the movement.

They have two contact numbers on their portal, one of them usually goes through. Do call her up. I've forgotten her name, I think one madam Nzoigbo or something.

Check 'snap it' . Their office is at 5 Oni street ( the road behind/ beside prestige hotel) of Ihama road. G.R.A.. I took mine there.

Thanks, they’re not in benin.

Please can anyone help out with good professional studios in benin for digital photos according to IRCC’s specifications?

Thanks [/quote]

IRCC have their own plan. We are all anxious to relocate to Canada. 2022 draws might come with it's own surprise. I am feeling that IRCC wants to whittle down the NOCs to be invited to apply for PR like Australia and New Zealand does: meaning not all NOCs from the skill 0, A and B category and the forthcoming 2021 TEER 0, 1 and 2 category. The long silence on the FSW and FST draws will most likely come with a big change. My best wishes are with you all.
Afolavid:
Nigerians hate being realistic... They want you to tell them the truth if it's sweet but to hell with the truth if it's bitter.

Those that said the first set of draws are going to be above 480 are just being realistic, it doesn't mean they don't want good for you. But y'all always defensive + offensive as usual, seeing everyone that analyze things differently as your village people.

Approaching the pool stats in a mathematical POV shows that the CRS of the first set of draws would be high before it then drops back to the norm, the only reason why it won't happen that way is if IRCC decides to kuku pack all of us at once, doing a MEGA draw. It's even possible that the CRS cut off will later drop to as low as 400, as long as the draws happen consecutively for a long period of time.

So let's be optimistic as we've always been but it's important to be realistic too. Even me wey dey separate fight never enter pool, we go dey alright Las Las cheesy

depends on what you are using. If its saving you should like 6 months bank statement/average balance without lump sums. If its gift deed or sale of asset. You can get the money today and use it for your application same day.

You made a mistake converting back to naira, you had no business with NGN to USD rate since your funds was in USD.
You concern should now be USD to CAD.

Don't be devastated, ask for a remark. That 6.5 will definitely become 7 after a good remark. It costs 15,000 & If your mark is updated, your money will be refunded. It's a win/win situation.

Are you sure of what you just said that it might come back changed 50/50.
Refrain from giving suggestions if you are not totally sure. Reading and listening are objective and there is no way it will come back changed.

Yes true, actually I didn't think of that LSRW clearly. I forgot that it's an objective. I know I have remarked W twice in the past and It works.

Keep your chin up. You’re going to be just fine. Everyone has their own time… do the best you can to add to your score through other means. Since you’re already doing a masters degree and learning French, you’re well on the right track! Wish you all the very best!

Dollar is the best way to go. Our economy is unstable.

Hi Everyone (don't worry, spent months reading backwards-- I know the drill cheesy). Got a few questions:

I've worked since 2017 but I have a few gaps in between e.g. due to covid my contract was not renewed while i was self-employed for 6 months, and i don't want to capture a job i did for 4 months in a bank because it is irrelevant to my tech skill. Does this count as 4 years' experience, or 3 years and 2 months experience (that is, 4 years experience - 10 months that I did not work)?

Also, if i was the director of my company for 1 year but only actually worked and gained an income for 5 months in that one year, does this count as 1 year experience or 5 months? Basically do I have to show my company bank statement for all the time the company functioned, or only when it earned?

And, just to add, while i was a director of my company, I was also a full time staff and being paid a salary. do I claim that I was self-employed or fully employed?-- i have the payslips.

Finally, I am currently separated but not legally, must I become legal with my separation? I don't want to legalise my separation until I emigrate-- however, we don't (and won't) live together any longer.

lol even i am confused by my own questions. grin
you only need to claim 3 years experience toget the maximum points. All other experiences and directorship will be listed in personal history (no reference letter required for those ones). You have to provide legal proof of seperation like an affidavit. Better start processing ya divorce before you emigrate.

Pls read FAQ 35 on page 1 for a separated (not divorced) person's experience with the application checklist. Just found another one https://www.nairaland.com/5031893/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/35#76008552
I suspect they will need some document to prove legal separation....otherwise the person may still be considered married.

Pls read FAQ 6 on page 1 for documents to submit for FSW.....what is required for any marital status, regular work experience (WE) and self employed WE.

#PersonalOpinion.....I didn't really follow the maths of your WE, but it seems easier to get a ref letter from an employer than to provide docs for self employed, so if I had 3 years as an employee, I'd forget about self employed for WE. Every other activity (directorships etc) not being used for WE goes in personal history as ednut says.

Good morning everyone. I am a newbie just joining this thread. I will ensure to read up to bring myself up to speed but I would like answers to these questions below:
1) Heard Canada has put a halt on the express entry immigration route. Is this true? Can someone still apply?

2) If I did a medical course in my bachelors and I’m about to start working in a different field. If I have a year work experience in this new field, can I apply? Or should I get work experience in the medical field I did my B.Sc in and then make the career switch when I get to Canada. Which one is best?

Would appreciate quick responses. Thanks so much!
