Hello Oluwasure

You can go for both, they are both Career progression for a Bsc graduate. But it is advisable you go for a Master's since you finished with a 2:1.

And if PGD is your interest, you should be able to convince the Visa Officer why you are going for a PGD instead of a Master, considering your 1st-degree grade..

In all, you are good to go with either a PGD or a Master's degree...

Peace

Good day canadianlders, I have a 2.1 in geology in a federal university here in the country please which would be my most realistic option between going for a PGD in a college and an M.SC in a university in Canada, thanks

Please who knows much about University of the Fraser Valley they offers two years diploma and associate degree, is like this programs is for undergraduates students in business management though both grad students and under grad students can apply for the program, As a second class lower divisions in economics education in Nigeria University, is it advisable for such person to apply for a two years diploma and associate degree? Looking from consular angle because I don't want to have issue with my visa. As a person what I wanted to study is MBA but this has been so difficult in Canada. I need advise please.

The only Post Baccalaureate program I saw there is for Data Analysis and I am not a computer science student and the Masters courses they have are not in my field.

Is the two years diploma and associate degree equals to PGD?

3.0 GPA in your last 60 credits/last 2 years of study

Meaning your GPA in your 3rd & 4th year must be at least 3.0

Hello Prince
2. Create a new GCKey for your study application... EE is an application for permanent residency, while Study permit is an application for Temporary residency, so they are different.

Peace

Kudos for sharing your knowledge with others. You are right that EE and study permit are different. However, you don't need to a different GCkey for each one. You just have to click "apply to come to Canada" in your current profile to start a new application.

I’m not a gurus, but with what have read here, NYSC can also be used as a work experience.

• All you need to scan is Your NYSC PPA Acceptance Letter & your Discharge Certificate would show that you have a One year Work Experience. A Letter of Recommendation from that your PPA.

Hi Ruby,
Are you booking an upfront medical or you have a med request? If it is the latter, you have to take your invite there (IOM or QLIFE) and plead for a date, they will schedule you for one, if it is the former just take the earlier date available which presently in 2022.

Hi Olu,

You need to do some personal research on the the type of study to want to get. This thread is for Canadian study permit, there is another thread for UK and US, before seeking for opinions you have to answer the following questions.

Which course do I want to study
Which country do I want to go and study the course?
All the aforementioned countries have cheap colleges and universities, so which country do I want to go to?
How much do you have in terms of funding and who will be responsible for the tuition?

These are basis questions that will help you narrow down your area of focus, once you answer the questions, you can then ask specific questions here about Canada or go to UK or US thread if you decide those are your choice.

What has your friend been doing in terms of employment since she left the University?. This will determine her choice of course in Canada.

Hello Orji007

Having so many millions is not a guarantee for your Visa Approval..

It's one thing to have millions, its another thing to convince the Visa Officer that those millions will be used effectively for the commitment of your studies all through your stay in Canada, and this is where your SOP/ LOE comes to play..

Order for your GCMS notes, so we can know the actual concerns of the Visa Officer.. After which we can strategize on how you can address the concerns of the Visa Officer..

Peace

Hi Everyone,

I applied for study permit on September 20, 2021 through NSE route. I got a request letter on November 1 to submit my original letter of acceptance, I submitted it on November 3. I haven’t gotten feedback since then. My account just shows that the additional document provided has been uploaded. I’m getting agitated.
Please how long does it take to get approval after submitting additional document requested? And how do I know when the visa office has started revising the document? I’m to resume March 2022, really getting worried, but I trust God

The portal will change to "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided" after which it will change to "not applicable". Subsequently, the final decision will be communicated to you. To expedite the review of the additional documents, please contact IRCC office in Nairobi via webform. Be rest assured that there is light at the end of the tunnel as there are higher chances of your visa been aprooved by the immigration officer in view of the request for your updated LOA.

It will end in praise
