I really enjoy being a silent reader & learning, but people’s PPR testimony used to make me happy during my wait. So I’ve decided to testify also.
I applied in May.
Did my biometrics 24/25 thereabout.
And that was the beginning of the wait. At first, people’s PPR testimonies were giving me ginger, but after August, I stopped reading this page. Haha. It was making me doubt and I didn’t want to doubt God.
I joined in page 1 of this topic, and 500+ now, and I’m so excited.
We didn’t know our account statement was not submitted all the while, so we were waiting in vain. When we realized, We submitted on Oct 25.
And the PPR came in Nov 5.

No upfront medicals.
Very grateful to God. All things work together for the good of them that love him. My first semester was compulsorily online, so it goes well.
Don’t lose hope!

grin

Congratulations to you..

I have a question, when you noticed your statement wasn't submitted. Did you upload your previous statement(the statement you had before the application) or a fresh statement from that October.

Thanks

I just checked qlife online, the next available is January 5th. There are multiple slots in January. Check again.Plus I don't think there's NSE anymore, but it's still advisable to do upfront medical before it's requested.

Please I need help regarding medicals for Nigerian Student Express. I was told I have to do the upfront medicals before i can apply but I have not been able to get a slot for medicals(both Lagos and Abuja). There are no available slots through to march 16th 2022. Same with Qlife as well.

I got admission to Conestoga College for May 2022 intake. Can someone kindly explain how I can go about starting my Visa application.

Hi Zivah,

What update exactly are you expecting ?
Do you have access to your IRCC Application page/GCkey ?
If yes, kindly log in to check if there’s any update. Ofcourse your Biometrics should have been updated.

Regards.

Zivah18:

Good afternoon everyone. I applied to the university of manitoba some days ago for a University 1 programme. And what I'm seeing on the portal making payment for the application is that I should provide a Gap in Academic Studies Statement. The gap is 10yrs and I'm 27yrs of age and I never declared my post secondary school education while registering for programme. I dnt know how to go about it, hence your help is highly needed. Thanks in anticipation...

My CGPA is 2.82, I studied Electrical Electronic Engineering in Uniben 2012 .I decided to go for Power Engineering Advance diploma at college of the North Atlantic, I got admission and my Visa was approved last month I am traveling 2022 fall, funny enough I applied for the Visa myself u don't need any agent as much as you are on this forum and information u need to submit a successful application is here

Aissy:
Good evening everyone
So while me I am patiently waiting for my approval, my aunt wants to sponsor my brother to study in Canada too. But the agent she gave us said my brothers CGP of 3.09 is too low to get a master which I agree then I suggested he gets a PGD from all the information I have gathered on this page instead the agent said he should forge a certificate with a higher grade then use that apply which I strongly oppose to ooh. He said he has done it for plenty people that if my brother wants to go ahead with getting a PGD then he won’t do the visa application for him. Isn’t all this funny my people?

Continue the application without medicals, when you are required to a request would be sent to you.

I believe the biometrics should have been updared since. I know medicals might take time if the hospital hasn't send your results to IRCC. Did you see any long number with expiry date on your page?

Thanks for your reply.
I would take your advice to heart.

Scott99tish:
Hi Nickoko,

I don’t think an expired IELTS would make any difference.
(1) I’ve not seen NSE Request in months, so no point.
(2) Even if they decide to start NSE request on your head again, it has expired. They will just ask you to do another IELTS and share within timeline.
So save yourself the stress if you’re not ready to re-write IELTS. Except you don’t mind writing again if they consider it.

About 5 pages SOP, There’s no particular pages you must write or not exceed. The major thing is to ensure you capture all that is required.
It’s not too much. JUST CAPTURE ALL THAT IS REQUIRED.

Regards.

Lambton college is pretty fast...highest is one week...my friend got he's in 2 days
Ojibwe:
Good day everyone.
I want to apply for admission for my son.
He is just 18yrs old.
I need a school in Canada that process admission faster.
I mean getting admission in few days.
The reason why I'm in hurry is that the fund I have in my bank account will be used for a project, so I decided to use it for sponsorship before it leaves my account.
Thanks.

Please who can assist with the link to IOM Ikeja for medicals?
Hey! U don't need any link, just visit there in person without an appointment, tell the gateman or security that u are for Canada medic, people for UK are plenty there. U will be booked manually and be given an appointment with a week or 2 weeks maximum.

Ok, thanks a lot. The person isn't a resident in Lagos., so it will be hard to do so. Was asking about it as the person wanted to enter Lagos the same day (as IOM is within the proximity of the airport), do it the same day, and then return back to base the next morning. Guess we have to make do with Qlife then.
