A woman who knows what she wants can decide to be a second wife. Not every woman can deal with having to be solely responsible for meeting a man's needs both intimate and otherwise and be the sole recipient of a man's attention all the time. So she can decide she would rather become a second wife in order to have time to focus more on herself.

I am of the opinion that if you as a man are ever interested in polygamy, make it known from the start so that the first woman who agrees to marry you knows what she's signing up for in future.
Give her the chance to choose. Don't force her into a situation she didn't bargain for.
To me, it's about the first wife first, because she will be the most affected.

Just accept that what u can't do,another person can. One man's food is another man's poison. Polygamy is not about a man having multiple wives,it's about every lady that's interested in getting married to have her own husband. Again,I accept it's not ur thing but quit trying to know y people are practicing it because it can't stop

Some women have their reasons for being a second wife

It could be for the sake of getting married to the man they so much love and can't do without, despite that he already have another girl who is pregnant for him or already had a child for him

The man could be so caring and loving and no woman wants to leave such a man, rather she will accept another woman to share the man with

It could be just to bear the name and cover shame

Whatever the reasons, is the same reasons a man wants to go ahead to marry two women same day

The most important thing is that, they have all agreed to leave, with love and peace

That's the thing even if he takes care of them, what if he's drawn to one wife over the other or her children are better looking than the other or have some advantage?
