Hello theman

It's not compulsory you notarise, many applicants here have gotten Approval without notarising..

Your Original Documents are enough..

Hello hwu2015

It's more convincing to do a Family application when Kids are involved.

But if it's just you and your spouse, I will advise she goes first and use you as a strong home tie, immediately she gets to Canada and she is in possession of her Study permit and Sin, then she can apply for a spousal permit for you...

Also, do not use a loan from the bank to sponsor her...

Caution!

Peace

Hello everyone, I have few questions.
1. My wife is the one applying for the study permit, is it advisable for us to apply for visa at the same time so we can all travel together.
2. I am the one sponsoring my wife. I intend to take a loan from the bank to cover for everything. Can I use it as proof of fund?

He should provide two to three recent pay slips, and attach a letter from his wife stating she is in agreement with him releasing the funds to you.

Hello Frankrobbin, Makano or my good people of Nairaland who can ask

Please i have about 32k cad in my own account. My brother who stays in the USA is doing a letter of financial support for 10kusd which is about 12kcad. The statements of accounts which he sent is from Bank of America and both statements have about 72kusd. But the thing is the statements are joint accounts with his wife.

Documents advised to be notarized are, sponsor's letter of sponsorship, sponsorship declaration, gift deeds. Etc ( That's if you're using sponsor or someone gifted you something. Outside that, you don't need to notarize anything. But if you choose to notarize them, is still good.

Note that I used advised and bolded it cos is not mandatory to even use a notary lawyer for your documents as it can still be done at state high court's (affidavits). Notarizing documents is costlier than affidavits at courts but carries more weight( as we were made to understand) than affidavit.

I want to run a Canadian Msc program. I just wanted to know if when submitting my documents to the Canadian embassy, if they will confirm all the jobs I worked, both the relevant and irrelevant ones.

The Diploma course are targeted towards high school graduates i.e secondary school, so that is a good choice.

Ketima:

Hello Kessy,

I would recommend Advanced Diploma instead of just ordinary Diploma. As for PPR, is all about how beautifully convincing your application is that is backed up with grace of God.

Nothing is impossible with God. Even people with Bsc that went for ordinary diploma got PPR.

For study permit VO has time to write to your employer to confirm the authenticity of the job you stated as they do in PNP or EE application. But it will not be wise to quite jobs that can't be proved with legit employment letter and SOA. Sometimes VO might ask you to submit SOA to be ascertain if you're really in a paid job or you made it up(thinking out loud though).

So please for your own good, be truthful. Everything we quote in our applications must be backed up with documented proof.

Yes. That correct. I was only tasking him to search and see if he/can get an Advanced Diploma in his course area. Where it is not possible, Diploma is best bet.

Hello guys.. After making payments for my application, do I wait for IRCC to request for my BIOMETRICS?

Or I should just Book for my BIOMETRICS even before they request for it?

After application, BIL comes 24hours later. But we have seen cases where people's BIL took longer and that document is important and required for your biometrics. So either you wait and book when you get your BIL or you take the chances and book while you wait for your BIL

Hello, you have to be fast about it as nearer slots are almost if not all taken up. And if you read your letter, you will see tht there is a time frame that your medicals must get to IRCC.

So the ball is in your court. All the best

Hello Chizi

A letter from his wife to show that she is in the agreement will be very helpful.

Remember he isn't the only signatory to the account, there must be a legal documentation from his wife, that she is in support..
