Former Manchester United defender, Patrice Evra has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi is all set to win his seventh Ballon d’Or at the gala on Monday.

Evra disclosed this in a post via his Instagram account on Sunday.

According to him, Messi is set to get his hands on the 2021 Ballon d’ Or ahead of the likes of Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, Chelsea’s Jorginho, Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and others.

He wrote, “Congratulations to @leomessi for winning another ballon d’or. Also the people who do not understand me when I speak that sucks my djudju.”

The 2021 Ballon d’Or ceremony is set to take place on the 29th of November.

The former Barcelona captain led Argentina to a historic Copa America 2021 triumph.

Messi is one of the favourites to win the Ballon d’ Or this year.

Lewandowski and Jorginho also have a strong case to get their hands on the top individual prize.
