Hello bro, your GCMS notes will make things clearer. I also had a similar issue like you. Same with someone else here. I applied from the UK few months to my study permit expiration and was rejected.
This is the reason why I am feeling that it may be the chief reason.
Some countries boldly tell you to have at least 6 months residency in the country you're applying from, but Canada seems not to be straightforward in that regard. Hence, my suspicion.
But let's wait for the GCMS notes sha.

Qatar residence permit is usually valid for one year and renewable by your employer. Mine will expire in Feb 2022.

Directly from the airline, I paid with Barter virtual card, the cost was ridiculous, I’d suggest you pay by transferring NGN to their Bank account and then send an email to them.

Hello Dollymon

Nairobi handles 90% of Nigerian applications..

So its okay, even though they are not the one handling your application, they can re-direct to the office handling your application..

But I will advise you send them emails rather than Web-forms...

With my experience, emails hits the target than Web-forms..

Peace

Hi Makano,

I sent mine to the Nairobi webform. I dont know the particular office handling my application, but I just sent mine to that office seeing that a lot of people here send theirs to Nairobi.

Should I send to the general webform as well?

please if u are resuming in January and have gotten Visa, abeg book ur flight early.I am going to see if I can change the date of my flight cos countries are protecting themselves cos of this new Omicron variant. Indonesia just banned all flights coming from Nigeria. Other African countries have refused to close their borders to the southern African countries and so many countries will feel this "African variant " will spread quickly so if u can book ur flight b4 the real winter starts, book it.I have officially applied for leave from my company.

Abeg how can l move it forward, I don dey call but they didn't pick my call. I just pray this thing no affect me

Thanks. I have requested for the GCMS notes and hopefully I'll make a decision from it

They have stopped the 30days before resumption. My school sent the email last month to notify those with visa can come in sir/madam.

Yes l received it too from my sch that l can come in anytime. Infact one of my friends who's resuming together with me on Jan 4 has travelled since October and nothing happened. Infact he travelled before they ease restrictions, l just pray this omicron will not cause any issues again

Can someone advise me on what to do.

I have gotten my visa and I booked my flight for December 18. With this recent covid news concerning Africa, what can I do?

My school resumes on January 5. I'm also unvaccinated and I planned to quarantine before moving to school.

Thank you.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Jxool: 12:32pm On Nov 29, 2021
With the latest update now it’s better to get vaccinated before traveling because unvaccinated traveller won’t be allowed

You have to get vaccinated before you leave Nigeria cause you will not be allowed to enter Canada.

This is my plight too,and there is no way I can be vaccinated before that time becos I heard it's morderna and pfizer that is in canada presently and it is astrazeneca that is in nigeria at the moment so there is no way I can even take the first shot in nigeria,I resumed since Septembe already(online) and won't like to be in nigeria for the second term, any advice for me will be appreciated

Hello Nairalanders,

My application of 6 months and 20 days—May 9, 2021—got refused this morning because of personal assets and financial status. Lemme go take some cold beer to chillax a bit because I cannot come and kill myself. Of course, it would be igodominously omicronous for me to dwell in the pain of the refusal after such moments of exasperating wait.

But then, wetin I go gain if I no reapply kwanu?

Hello Kenny

I wanna assume it was an agent that told you the bolded.. Similar to a statement an applicant told me that her agent told her she should not dare send a mail to any MP, that they will refuse her application with immediate effect... You can just imagine such statement..

So please go ahead with your emails..

Dunno why you all are scared of sending them mails when you know your application has passed the IRCC approved processing time...

The only time you are not expected to bug them with emails or web-forms is when your application is still within the processing time..

Lets be guided

Peace

Who was your sponsor?

Did you prove your relationship with your sponsor and proof of funds?

Did you include your own bank statement?

Not Agent, I read it somewhere on Part 19 of these thread. Also, I just submit my visa application……. I recently send some additional info using the webform and I want to be sure if they have received it coz I didn’t get any reply from them yet.
